Introduction: -
The international Civil Defence family celebrates each year on March 1 the World Civil Defence Day. The celebration of this day is an opportunity for Civil Defence system in member countries to promote their role in safeguarding life, property and environment as well as their capacity to respond to any kind of emergency situation with the view to minimize human and material loss
es as much as possible. It is time also to re-evaluate their actions so as to avoid errors and overcome difficulties through an integrated system of institutional work. Objectives of Civil Defence: -
To minimize the ratio of death and injuries among the public against natural disaster/ man made disaster. To impart constant training in Disaster Management, Rescue, Fire Fighting and Bomb Disposal. To insure the safety/ security arrangements in the industrial /commercial Concern and others premises considered essential. To provide assistance to Local Government at all festivals and exigencies by Civil Defence Volunteers. Role of Civil Defence: -
In the Civil Defence Organization 03 departments are playing a major role to complete the objective of the Civil defence:
