The Spring Tree Plantation Campaign 2026, Planting and awareness raising event successfully organized at Government College of Management Sciences Haripur by Haripur Forest Division on 13th Feb. 2026. The event commenced with the plantation of Chir and Palm trees.
The ceremony was graced by Sardar Farhad Ali, Conservator Forest Lower Hazara and Ghulam Raza, Principal of Government College of Management Sciences Haripur.
A total of 3,855 Ornamental, Fruit and Forest Plant species were distributed among students. The large scale distribution not only enhanced the campus landscape but also empowered students to actively participate in afforestation efforts within their communities. The campaign served as a practical demonstration of collective action toward increasing green cover.
An engaging awareness lecture was delivered by Sardar Farhad Ali, who highlighted the critical importance of tree plantation in mitigating climate change, improving air quality, conserving biodiversity and supporting sustainable commerce.
