The All Sindh Law Students Association (ASLA Sindh) strongly condemns the unlawful and forceful abduction of Advocate Aamir Umrani from his residence in Sakrand in the early hours of today. This act of forcibly entering his home, violating the sanctity of his household, and abducting him without any legal justification is a blatant violation of fundamental human rights and the Constitution of Pakistan. The Constitution of Pakistan guarantees the right to security, dignity, and due process of law to every citizen. Such enforced disappearances not only create fear among the legal fraternity but also undermine the rule of law and democratic values. Advocates and legal professionals are the pillars of justice, and any attempt to silence them through illegal means is unacceptable. We demand the immediate and unconditional release of Advocate Aamir Umrani. Furthermore, we urge the higher authorities, including the Chief Justice of Pakistan, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, the Chief Minister of Sindh, and the Inspector General of Sindh Police, to take immediate notice of this serious matter and ensure that those responsible for this unlawful act are held accountable.ASLA Sindh stands firmly against such unlawful practices and will continue to raise its voice for justice, legal rights, and the protection of citizens from illegal actions.
