Today, a significant milestone was achieved as an MoU was signed between Pakistan Post and the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce & Industry for the establishment of a new Post Office in Rawat Industrial Estate.
The ceremony was attended by Addl. DG (Ops) Mr. Maqsood Ahmed Baloch, Addl. DG (A&F) Mr. Anwar Malik, PMG NPC Mr. Faisal Tehseen, Dy. PMG (Ops) Mr. Farhan Ali Mirza, DSPS Murree-Kahuta Division Ms. Mehak Batool. On behalf of RCCI, Mr. Usman Shaukat (President), Mr. Ch. Naeem Rauf (Chairman) and Mr. Irfan Khan Manan (Secretary General) were present.
This collaboration is set to enhance postal services and facilities for the industrial community in the region.

چکوال میں شدید بارش کے دوران ڈھمن پل تباہ ہونے کی وجہ سے آمد و رفت معطل ہوگئی۔ اس دوران پاکستان پوسٹ نے اپنی خدمات جاری رکھیں اور اپنی جان کی پرواہ کئے بغیر ڈاک کی ترسیل جاری رکھی۔ چکوال سب ڈویژن کے اہلکار مقصود قاسم تباہ حال پل سے انتہائی مشکل سے ڈاک دوسری طرف پہنچاتے ہوئے جبکہ دوسری طرف ڈاک کی وصولی کیلئے قیصر محمود بھی الرٹ ہیں۔ ایسے اہلکار ادارے کیلئے فخر کا باعث ہیں۔ انکی کاوش پر سلیوٹ
