We request Pakistan Medical and Dental Council to reconsider its decision on Afghan students in medical colleges and universities on humanitarian grounds and civilizational relations between the peoples of the two countries. A more humane and practical approach can be to allow the students to complete their respective degrees and arrange their return to Afghanistan as soon as they complete their education

The Defence and Martyrs Day (6 September) of Pakistan was commemorated with solemn dignity and national pride at the Pakistan Embassy Kabul. The ceremony, presided over by Ubaid-ur-Rehman Nizamani, Ambassador of Pakistan to Afghanistan, brought together embassy officers, staff, and a large number of the Pakistani diaspora residing in Afghanistan.

Speakers (experts) have emphasized the need to “move beyond a conflict-centred approach and promote dialogue, economic cooperation, regional connectivity, and people-to-people engagement.”
