Proud Pakistani Female Athletes

Pakistan's taekwondo athletes impressed at the 9th Hero International Taekwondo Open Championship in Pattaya, Thailand, winning multiple medals against competitors from over 30 countries.

Tayiba Ashraf secured bronze in the 53kg fighting category and silver in the Speed Kicking event, while Sumbal Fatima won gold in the Individual Recognized Poomsae category and silver in the Speed Punch event.

A 10-day-old sick child from Jalalabad, Afghanistan looks stable after treatment in a hospital at Peshawar.

He was allowed by Pakistan's border Authorities via Torkham border to enter Pakistan for treatment on the basis of humanitarian compassion yesterday.

Pakistan's Border Authorities at Torkham granted permission to an 10-day-old sick child from a family belonging to Jalalabad to enter Pakistan for treatment on the basis of humanitarian compassion.

The child has been transferred to Hayatabad Medical Complex in Peshawar for further treatment, where necessary medical facilities will be provided to him.

This step has been taken under the spirit of humanitarian compassion so that the newborn child can receive timely treatment and immediate medical assistance can be provided to save his life.
