🔴IREN Squad Seizes 68 Cartons of Illicit Ci******es During Enforcement Operation🔴

On the directions of the Chief Commissioner, RTO Islamabad, the IREN Squad carried out a successful enforcement operation in Gulberg Green and F-10 Markaz, Islamabad. During the operation, the team seized 68 cartons of illicit ci******es being traded in violation of the applicable tax laws.

The enforcement action was undertaken as part of FBR’s ongoing efforts to combat the illegal trade of non-duty-paid to***co products, safeguard government revenue, and promote fair market practices.

RTO Islamabad remains steadfast in its commitment to the strict enforcement of tax laws and will continue to take firm action against tax evasion and all forms of illegal trade in accordance with the Federal Excise Act, 2005 and the Sales Tax Act, 1990.

🔴Enforcement Action against a business premises for violating FBR's POS Regulations🔴

On the directions of the Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue (CCIR) and Commissioner Inland Revenue (CIR), ICTO Zone, the restaurant in D-12 was sealed by the Inland Revenue enforcement team due to violations of the FBR Point of Sale (POS) regulations.

The action was taken as part of FBR’s ongoing enforcement campaign against non-compliant Tier-1 retailers to ensure transparency, proper documentation of sales, and strict adherence to tax laws.
FBR RTO Islamabad reiterates that enforcement actions against businesses violating POS regulations will continue without discrimination to promote voluntary tax compliance and protect the national revenue base.

🔴Enforcement Action against a business premises for violating FBR's POS regulations🔴

On the directions and instructions of the Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue (CCIR) and Commissioner Inland Revenue (CIR), ICTO Zone, enforcement action was conducted in the New Blue Area against a business premises found violating the Federal Board of Revenue’s Point of Sale (POS) regulations.

During the inspection, the business was found non-compliant with mandatory POS requirements. Consequently, the premises were sealed under the relevant provisions of tax laws.

FBR RTO Islamabad remains committed to ensuring compliance with the POS system and documentation of economic activity. Businesses are advised to integrate with the FBR POS system and issue tax-compliant invoices to customers. Strict enforcement actions will continue against non-compliant businesses.
