PPM TB DOTS Pakistan To offer quality care to TB patients through a network of enabled private sector and Parastatal hospitals, clinics and laboratories

National TB Control Program achieved 100% DOTS coverage at Public sector health facilities in 2005 and initiated the involvement of private sector in 2007 in selected districts of Pakistan. Considerable evidence on implementation of PPM is now available in Pakistan and different PPM models have been implemented by National TB Control Program (NTP) and partners. The NTP Pakistan, with its public DO

TS program now well-established, is drawing lessons from existing PPM ventures. NTP in Pakistan has therefore intensified its efforts through several innovative approaches in PPM. This aims to ensure that TB patients that attend a large and diverse private and parasternal sector access appropriate diagnosis and treatment.
