🇵🇰 Celebrating 79 Years of Independence at ICB 🇵🇰
Islamabad College for Boys, G-6/3, Islamabad celebrated Pakistan’s Independence Day with great enthusiasm, patriotic spirit and pride in our beloved homeland.
The celebrations culminated on 14 August 2026 with a dignified Flag-Hoisting Ceremony, while a series of activities was organised in the days leading up to Independence Day to engage students meaningfully with the history, values and spirit of Pakistan.
Students participated enthusiastically in quiz competitions, poster making, essay writing, special assemblies, speeches, Milli Naghmas, Kalam-e-Iqbal, patriotic tableaux, face painting, classroom activities, a display wall, cake cutting and a plantation drive.
Our youngest students from ECE-I and ECE-II added special charm to the celebrations through their patriotic speeches and tableaux.
ICB students also represented the College in Independence Day activities at the Pakistan Monument, dressed in colourful traditional attire reflecting Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage, and at the Convention Centre, Islamabad, becoming part of the wider celebrations across the capital.
Classroom activities also helped students learn about Independence Day, the Pakistan Movement and the sacrifices made for the creation of Pakistan, reminding them that freedom is not only a celebration but also a responsibility.
As Pakistan celebrates 79 years of independence, ICB proudly continues to nurture young minds with knowledge, character, responsibility and love for their country.
