PTDC is pleased to share that Polish adventure cyclist Mr. Sล‚awomir Jan Strzelczyk has successfully completed his 1,390-km cycling expedition from Islamabad to Khunjerab Pass and onward to Skardu. On this journy, he was accompanied by Mohammad Saleh, an experienced tour guide. After his return to Islamabad, he visited PTDC's Headquarters to thank PTDCโ€™s team for providing him excellent support and facilitation throughout his expedition.
In his meeting with MD PTDC Mr. Aftab Ur Rehman Rana, he shared his enriching experience, praised Pakistanโ€™s beauty and hospitality, and expressed gratitude for PTDCโ€™s support. He also plans to return this October with a larger group of Polish cyclists.
MD PTDC congratulated him on the successful completion, presented a Salam Pakistan souvenir, and reaffirmed PTDCโ€™s commitment to promoting adventure and cycling activities in Pakistan.

A solemn Candlelight Vigil was held at Pakistan Sports Complex, Islamabad, by the mountain community in Pakistan to pay tribute to the legendary mountaineers who lost their lives on Broad Peak under the umbrella of Alpine Club of Pakistan.

On the occasion, the Managing Director, Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC), expressed deep sorrow over the tragic loss and joined participants in lighting candles in memory of the fallen heroes and emphasized the collective responsibility of all stakeholders, mountaineers and mountain communities to promote safe, secure and responsible mountain adventure tourism in Pakistan. ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ”๏ธ

Candlelight Vigil in Memory of the Fallen Heroes of Broad Peak

The Alpine Club of Pakistan, Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) and Pakistan Sports Board pay solemn tribute to the courageous mountaineers who lost their lives on Broad Peak. Their extraordinary bravery, determination and passion for the mountains will forever remain a source of inspiration for Pakistanโ€™s mountaineering community and future generations.

The Alpine Club of Pakistan, in collaboration with the PTDC and PSB is organizing a candlelight vigil to honour their lives, remember their remarkable achievements and keep their legacy alive.

On the occasion of the visit of South Korean Natioanl Hockey Team to Pakistan for international test match series, Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) in collaboration with Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP) organized a sightseeing tour of Islamabad for the Korean hockey team and delegation.
Travelling on a double-decker bus of TDCP, the team explored the beautiful city of Islamabad and visited iconic sites of Faisal Mosque ๐Ÿ•Œ and Lok Virsa Museum ๐Ÿ›๏ธ, they highly enjoyed this sightseeing tour of Islamabad admired the natural beauty and rich culture of the capital city.

The meeting highlighted Pakistan's immense tourism potential in the South Korean outbound travel market and the power of digital storytelling in promoting destinations. Currently exploring Pakistan, the vloggers are capturing its breathtaking landscapes, rich cultural heritage and warm hospitality, which will be showcased to South Korean audiences through their travel vlogs and social media platforms.
