Nadeem Iqbal, CEO of TheNetwork for Consumer Protection, is participating in a high-level panel alongside the Attorney General of Pakistan, Mansoor Usman Awan, and Member of Parliament Ms. Munaza Hassan, Chairperson of the Parliamentary Committee on Climate Change, during the Air Sensors International Conference (ASIC) Pakistan Mitigation Series held in early December in Islamabad.

The conference was co-organized by Fair Finance Pakistan—of which TheNetwork for Consumer Protection is a part—and the Air Quality Research Center (AQRC), University of California, USA. Digital finance is transforming how people use and manage money. But access without
protection is not enough.
Consumers International’s new report, ‘Building Consumer Resilience in Digital Finance’,
reveals how existing protections often fail in practice, as well as what can be done to
address this. It offers a guiding star for a more resilience digital finance system.
As a Member of Consumers International, TheNetwork for Consumer Protection NGO supports this work.
Because building resilient financial futures starts with listening to the people those
systems are meant to serve.
