𝐃𝐫. 𝐆𝐡𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐦 𝐀𝐥𝐢 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐡, Executive Director/CEO IBCC and Chairman ICT-PEIRA, addressed the 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐈𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐝 Graduation Ceremony 2026 as Chief Guest, where he congratulated the graduating Class of 2026 on reaching an important milestone in their academic journey. He encouraged students to remain lifelong learners, embrace innovation, develop strong character, and never fear failure, emphasizing that success in the modern world depends on continuous learning, adaptability, integrity, and a commitment to solving real-world problems. Sharing lessons from his own career in academia, research, and public service, he highlighted the transformative reforms introduced at 𝑰𝑩𝑪𝑪 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑰𝑪𝑻-𝑷𝑬𝑰𝑹𝑨 through 𝙙𝙞𝙜𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙯𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝙖𝙪𝙩𝙤𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙯𝙚𝙣-𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙘 𝙜𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚.. He reminded graduates that meaningful change begins with individuals who possess vision, courage, and determination, and urged them to use their education not merely for personal success but to contribute positively to society, Pakistan, and humanity at large. Dr. Mallah concluded by encouraging the students to dream boldly, think independently, lead ethically, and become responsible global citizens capable of shaping a better future for generations to come.

*اسلام آباد کے نجی تعلیمی اداروں میں 10 فیصد لازمی اسکالرشپس پر عملدرآمد کا جائزہ

سینیٹ کی قائمہ کمیٹی برائے وفاقی تعلیم و پیشہ ورانہ تربیت کی ہدایات اور وفاقی سیکرٹری تعلیم کی خصوصی رہنمائی کے تحت چیئرمین ICT-PEIRA ڈاکٹر غلام علی ملاح کی زیر صدارت ایک اہم اجلاس منعقد ہوا جس میں اسلام آباد کے نجی تعلیمی اداروں کی جانب سے رائٹ ٹو فری اینڈ کمپلسری ایجوکیشن ایکٹ 2012 کے تحت 10 فیصد مستحق طلبہ کے لیے لازمی اسکالرشپس پر عملدرآمد کا جائزہ لیا گیا۔

اجلاس میں اس امر پر تشویش کا اظہار کیا گیا کہ متعدد نجی تعلیمی اداروں نے بارہا یاددہانی اور ہدایات کے باوجود اسکالرشپ سے متعلق مطلوبہ معلومات ICT-PEIRA کو فراہم نہیں کیں۔

ڈاکٹر غلام علی ملاح نے کہا کہ اتھارٹی قانون پر مکمل عملدرآمد یقینی بنانے کے لیے ہر ممکن اقدام اٹھائے گی۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ آؤٹ آف اسکول بچوں (OOSC) کو ترجیحی بنیادوں پر 10 فیصد اسکالرشپ سکیم کے تحت نجی تعلیمی اداروں میں داخلہ دلایا جائے گا تاکہ کوئی بھی مستحق بچہ تعلیم سے محروم نہ رہے۔

اجلاس میں فیصلہ کیا گیا کہ تمام نادہندہ اداروں کو 30 جون 2026 تک مطلوبہ معلومات جمع کرانے کا آخری موقع دیا جائے۔ مقررہ تاریخ تک عدم تعمیل کی صورت میں متعلقہ اداروں کی رجسٹریشن و تجدید رجسٹریشن کی کارروائی روک دی جائے گی، ان کے نام ICT-PEIRA کی ویب سائٹ پر بطور نادہندہ شائع کیے جائیں گے اور متعلقہ امتحانی بورڈز کو بھی آگاہ کیا جائے گا۔

مزید برآں مسلسل عدم تعمیل کی صورت میں اداروں پر جرمانے، رجسٹریشن کی معطلی اور ICT-PEIRA Act, 2013 کے تحت قانونی کارروائی عمل میں لائی جائے گی۔

اجلاس میں ان نجی تعلیمی اداروں کی کاوشوں کو بھی سراہا گیا جنہوں نے 10 فیصد اسکالرشپس فراہم کرنے کے حوالے سے مکمل تعاون کیا ہے۔ ایسے اداروں کو ان کی سماجی ذمہ داری اور تعلیمی شمولیت کے فروغ میں کردار کے اعتراف میں تعریفی اسناد جاری کی جائیں گی۔

ICT-PEIRA اسلام آباد کے تمام بچوں، بالخصوص مستحق اور آؤٹ آف اسکول بچوں، کو معیاری تعلیم کی فراہمی اور ان کے تعلیمی حقوق کے تحفظ کے لیے اپنے عزم کا اعادہ کرتی ہے۔

🌳 𝐈𝐂𝐓-𝐏𝐄𝐈𝐑𝐀 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞

As part of its commitment to promoting environmental sustainability and fostering a greener future, Islamabad Capital Territory - Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority (ICT-PEIRA) organized a Tree Plantation Drive at its office premises.

The initiative was carried out under the leadership of the Senior Joint Secretary (FE), Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training (MoFEPT), and Chairman, ICT-PEIRA, with the active participation of officers and staff of the Authority. The activity aimed to raise awareness about the importance of environmental conservation, climate resilience, and the collective responsibility of protecting natural resources for future generations.

Tree plantation is a vital step towards combating climate change, improving air quality, enhancing biodiversity, and creating a healthier environment. Through this drive, ICT-PEIRA reaffirmed its commitment to supporting national efforts for environmental protection and sustainable development.

Participants enthusiastically planted saplings and pledged to continue contributing towards a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable Islamabad. ICT-PEIRA encourages educational institutions, students, teachers, and citizens to actively participate in tree plantation activities and play their role in preserving the environment.

𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲

A review meeting of the Authority to assess progress and compliance on key policy decisions taken in year 2026, was held on 2 June, 2026. The meeting was chaired by
𝐃𝐫. 𝐆𝐡𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐦 𝐀𝐥𝐢 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐡, 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧 Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority (PEIRA). These policy decisions and actions pertains to private schools registration & renewal reforms, collection and analysis of scholarship data under Right to Free and Compulsory Education framework, and initiatives aimed at addressing the issue of out-of-school children in Islamabad.

The meeting was attended by senior management of PEIRA. Ongoing policy actions were reviewed in detailed, challenges were also discussed and deliberated alongwith strategies to strengthen regulatory oversight, enhance educational access, and improve compliance across private educational institutions.

PEIRA remains committed to promoting quality education, ensuring transparency, and supporting equitable learning opportunities for all children, across Islamabad.
