اے وقت کے حکمران! تُو مجھ سے وطن کا پرچم بلند رکھنے کی قسمیں لیتا ہے، میرے نعروں کو اپنے مفاد کے لیے استعمال کرتا ہے، میری قربانیوں پر فخر سے تقریریں کرتا ہے — مگر جب میرے بچے بھوکے سوتے ہیں، جب میرا گھر آگ کی لپیٹ میں آتا ہے، جب میری جان خطرے میں ہوتی ہے — تو تُو کہیں نظر نہیں آتا!

تُو کہاں ہوتا ہے اُس وقت جب میرے بیمار بچے دوا کے بغیر تڑپتے ہیں؟ جب میں روٹی کے ایک نوالے کے لیے در در کی ٹھوکریں کھاتا ہوں؟ کیا یہی ہے تیرا انصاف؟ کیا یہی ہیں تیرے وعدے؟

اللہ کو کیا جواب دو گے؟ تُو صرف طاقتوروں کے ساتھ کھڑا ہوتا ہے، کمزوروں کو روند کر گزر جاتا ہے۔ میری بددعا ہے — جس طرح ہم غریب روز بھوک، ظلم اور بے بسی کے اندھیروں میں ڈوبتے ہیں، ویسے ہی تیرا محل بھی تاریکی میں دفن ہو جائے۔

تُو حکمران نہیں، فرعون ہے — اور ہر فرعون کا انجام عبرت ہوتا ہے۔

یاد رکھ! مظلوم کی آہ عرش تک جاتی ہے، اور جب اللہ کی لاٹھی حرکت میں آتی ہے، تو بڑے بڑے تخت پلٹ دیے جاتے ہیں۔
