International Women’s Day – 8 March....
In our society, women are nearly half of the population, yet their voice in politics is almost missing. Women’s political participation is around 1%, and even the voter turnout is only about 4–6%. This is not because women lack ability, but because society still places barriers in their path.
A strong democracy cannot exist when half of its people are silent.
Real change starts at home and in our institutions. Families should encourage women to vote. Political parties must give women real opportunities to lead and contest elections. Laws and institutions must protect their political rights.
Empowering women in politics is not a favor,, it's justice.
When women rise, democracy becomes stronger......!!!!!
