Cadet College Petaro was the second Cadet College in the country after Hassan Abdal to be established initially at Mirpurkhas in 1957 and shifted to its present site Petaro in 1959. Cadet College Petaro is residential institution, established at Petaro on a campus of about 700 acres. It is located some two kilometers off the right bank of the river Indus, 30 kilometers away from Hyderabad on Indus
