On the 79th Anniversary of Pakistan’s Independence, General Azhar Mehmood Kiyani, Advisor to the CM Punjab on Health, along with Dr. Mian Mazhar Hayat, CEO DHA Jhelum, and other distinguished guests, visited DHQ Hospital Jhelum.

During the visit, a flag-hoisting ceremony and cake-cutting ceremony were held. Sweets were also distributed among patients and hospital staff, celebrating the spirit of Independence Day with joy, unity, and national pride.

➡️ Reviewed staff attendance, cleanliness, infection prevention measures, availability of essential medicines, medical equipment functionality, and the provision of safe drinking water for patients and attendants.

➡️ Checked the functionality of air conditioners in the Emergency Department and Indoor Wards to ensure a comfortable environment for patients.

➡️ Interacted with patients and attendants, who expressed satisfaction with the healthcare services and the cooperative attitude of the hospital staff.

Deputy District Health Officer in a crackdown against quacks sealed the illegal medical practitioner's points

On the directions Deputy Commissioner & Cheif Executive Officer, Dr. Anjam Qadeer (DDHO) paid visits to different outlets of private practitioners in rural & urban areas of tehsil to review the provision of health services in accordance with the mandate given by Punjab Healthcare Commission - PHC / Govt of Punjab and sealed several outlets on account of working beyond the mandate & using prohibited drugs.

The Anti-Quackary drive targeted private practitioners operating outside the legal framework, resulting in the immediate sealing of afro mentioned hospital, found in gross violation of health regulations.

Dr. Anjam Qadeer (DDHO) ensured that the premise was vacated and locked under an official seal. All relevant evidence and documentation has been collected and forwarded to the District Quality Control Board (DQCB) for further adjudication and permanent sentencing.

Dr. Anjam Qadeer (DDHO) concluded all the disciplinary and legal proceedings under the admissible rules & regulations.

Cheif Executive Officer, District Health Authority paid a visit to Rural Health Center

Dr. Mian Mazhar Hayat (CEO) took a detailed round of RHC and visited Registration Counter, Pharmacy, Labour Room, EPI and Ward to ensure the availability and utilisations of the resources for the provision of quality of clinical, diagnostic, vaccination and pharmaceutical services in line with the vision of the Govt of Punjab.

Dr. Mian Mazhar Hayat (CEO) also reviewed the record management, data uploading and reporting mechanism on the dedicated Computerized Applications. Worthy Dignitary also assessed the cleanliness and maintenance of the equipment available in the hospital.

Dr. Mian Mazhar Hayat (CEO) also interacted with the public & patients to take feedback on the quality of services offered to them. Worthy Dignitary also reviewed the attendance of the staff as per the duty roster.

Dr. Mian Mazhar Hayat (CEO) took a detailed rounds of Health centers and visited Registration & Nursing Counters, OPDs, Special Clinics, Pharmacy, wards and Emergency to ensure the availability and utilizations of the resources in line with the vision of the Govt of Punjab.
