Mohra Heran

Mohra Heran Village Morra Heeran is part of union council Choha Khalsa, and is two miles from Choha Khalsa. Morra Heeran is a valley in foot steps of the mountains.

Morra Heeran people originated from Morra nagrial in 1870. Numberdar Badar-ud-Din of Morra Nagrial discovered this beautiful valley, by profession he was a farmer and this place was much suitable for his cattle, because of the greenery, so he built a cottage and settled down in this valley. After a while rest of his family found out the benefit of the area, they moved in to join him in the new vi

llage. so it became a small village at the end of 1899. According to subaidar Raja Latif of Morra Heeran village name was named after Heer Rivulet. Current population of the village is around one thousand people and has 227 houses. Majority of the people are well educated , Morra Heeran is famous for teachers and sports activities. Girls education percentage is higher then boys, around 60 to 70% girls are doing intermediate graduation, while 50% of the boys are in higher studies. Most of the people are in government jobs, while some have businesses, and some have emigrated abroad.
