Kainaat Foundation proudly participated in the Two-Day Capacity Building Workshop on Policy Research and Advocacy, held on 29–30 July 2026 at Mehran Hotel, Karachi.

The workshop provided valuable learning opportunities on the policy-making process in Pakistan, policy analysis tools, development of policy briefs, and effective advocacy strategies. Interactive group exercises, critical reflections, and expert-led sessions enriched participants' understanding of how civil society organizations can influence public policy through evidence-based research and constructive engagement with decision-makers.

We sincerely thank CPDI, the Local Governance Programme (PLG), and GIZ for organizing this insightful learning opportunity and for investing in the capacity of civil society organizations.

1st Quarterly Review Meeting – Non-Formal Education Centers.

Today, Kainaat Foundation held its first quarterly review meeting of Non-Formal Education Centers at Kandhkot office. These centers are running with the support of the Directorate of Education & Literacy Department, Government of Sindh.

20 Facilitators attended the meeting and shared updates about their centers, what is going well and what needs more attention.

The meeting also focused on the challenges being faced in the field. A key topic of discussion was tracing and follow-up of learners, making sure that students who have enrolled in the centers continue to come and learn regularly.

It was a productive meeting where everyone sat together, discussed the ground realities, and planned the way forward.

After a long gap, we have once again reunited to raise our collective voice against Violence Against Women & Girls.

Back in the early years (2006–2010), civil society organizations jointly launched a mass awareness campaign titled “We Can End All Kinds of Violence Against Women” to combat the brutal practice of so-called honour killing (Karo-Kari). That movement created strong public awareness, advocacy, and collective action for sustainable social change.

However, after almost one and a half decades, the alarming rise in violence against women and the recent killing of more than 15 women within just a few months in the name of “honour” compelled civil society activists to revive this important movement once again.

Special appreciation goes to Ms. Rubina Chandio for bringing activists and organizations together on one platform. Kainaat Foundation and its dedicated team have always remained at the forefront in the fight against inhuman customs like Karo-Kari and all forms of gender-based violence.

Today, a large number of women rights activists, lawyers, social workers, journalists, and civil society representatives gathered at Arts Council Sukkur and renewed their commitment to eradicate violence against women and girls through collective struggle, awareness, advocacy, and stronger implementation of laws.

Together, we stand for dignity, justice, equality, and a violence-free society for women and girls.

Transforming Classrooms, One Game at a Time!

Traditional teaching is changing, and it’s about time! Across the country, many children still feel a sense of fear when they think of school, leading to rising absentee rates and dropouts.

At Kainaat Foundation, we believe school should be a place where children thrive, not just survive.

We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of our three-day Teachers’ Training on Play-Based Learning, made possible by the incredible support of Right To Play.

32 Teachers (20 Female 12 Male) from different schools have been trained. Our educators dived deep into innovative methodologies that move beyond the chalkboard. By integrating play into the curriculum, we are:

Turning "boring" lessons into interactive adventures.
Ensuring every child feels seen and heard.
Creating a friendly, safe, and healthy environment where no child is left behind.

When teachers play, children learn. Let’s make the fear of school a thing of the past.
