Parenting is not about the child. It’s about the parent.

The two things that define, how a child will grow up are
1.Genes and 2.Environment.
Genes are given by parents directly :-) and the environment is set indirectly.
From where the child will sleep, to
When will the child eat, to
Which school the child will go to, parents decide.
Hence children are actually a mirror to us in the initial years. And we often want to change the behaviour of the child but what we need to work on is ourselves.
پیرنٹنگ کا انحصار بچے پر نہیں، بلکہ خود والدین پر ہے۔
بچے کی پرورش کو دو چیزیں تشکیل دیتی ہیں:
جینز اور ماحول۔
جینز ہمیں والدین سے وراثت میں ملتے ہیں 🙂
اور ماحول… وہ والدین خود شعوری یا لاشعوری طور پر بناتے ہیں۔
بچہ کہاں سوئے گا،
کب کھائے گا،
کس اسکول میں جائے گا—
یہ سب فیصلے والدین کرتے ہیں۔
اسی لیے زندگی کے ابتدائی سالوں میں بچہ ہمارے رویّوں کا آئینہ ہوتا ہے۔
اکثر ہم بچے کے رویے کو بدلنا چاہتے ہیں،
جبکہ اصل ضرورت ہمیں خود کو بدلنے کی ہوتی ہے۔
کیونکہ جب والدین بہتر بنتے ہیں،
تو بچے خود بخود بہتر ہو جاتے ہیں۔ 💛
