On September 4, 2025, the National Commission on the Status of Women (NCSW) hosted a powerful consultation on child marriage in Karachi, Sindh. 🌍✨
The session was graced by Ms. Shaheena Sher Ali, Minister for Women Development Sindh, as the Keynote Speaker, alongside impactful opening remarks by Ms. Ume Laila Azhar, Chairperson NCSW Islamabad, and Ms. Saleha Ramay from UNFPA.
Panelists—including Mr. Faizullah Korejo (DIG Police), Ms. Ambreen Zahra (Director Operations, SCPA), Ms. Raheela (Local Govt. Dept.), and myself—engaged in a productive dialogue, addressing key challenges and solutions.
