What you need to know: Natasha Danish, the main suspect in the Karsaz accident case, has filed a bail plea in the local court. Her plea, submitted through her lawyer, includes a request for bail based on her history of mental health issues and past treatments from various psychiatrists.
What more: The lawyer argued that the charges against Natasha are bailable and provided medical certificates and treatment records to support her request. Meanwhile, the court granted interim bail to Danish Iqbal, Natasha's husband, against a surety bond of Rs 100,000.
Also: Natasha, who is in judicial custody, is accused of running over Imran Arif and his daughter Amna Arif, and injuring five others on Karsaz Road on August 19. The police have added another charge to her case, and recent medical reports revealed that she was under the influence of m**hamphetamine (crystal m**h) during the incident.
