عید پہ کئی لوگ ہوتے ہیں جنہیں خوشی سے زیادہ غم محسوس ہوتا ہے۔

کیوں کہ یہ موقع ہی اتنا بڑا ہوتا ہے کہ کچھ چیزوں کچھ لوگوں کی کمی بہت زیادہ محسوس ہوتی ہے۔
کئی لوگوں کے والدین یا بہن بھائی یا کوئی بھی بہت قریبی اس دنیا سے چلا گیا ہوتا ہے، کچھ دل کے قریب لوگوں کا رویہ اب ہمارے ساتھ پہلے جیسا نہیں رہا ہوتا اور اُن کے اِس دنیا میں ہونے کے باوجود بھی ہم اُن سے نہیں مل پاتے۔

ہم یہ تو کہہ دیتے ہیں کہ یہ زندہ لاشیں ہیں مگر کبھی وجہ جاننے کی کوشش نہیں کرتے کیا پتہ کسی کی عید کی اُداسی کی وجہ ہم ہی نہ ہوں؟
سارے دُکھ تو اُن لوگوں کی وجہ سے ہی ہوتے ہیں جن سے ہمیں محبت ہوتی ہے اسی لیے میں فیض کی اس بات سے متفق نہیں ہوں؛

~اور بھی دُکھ ہیں زمانے میں محبت کے سوا

جو چلے گئے وہ تو واپس نہیں آ سکتے مگر جو ہیں اُن کی قدر کیجیے۔ کسی کے چہرے پہ مسکراہٹ بکھیر سکتے ہوں تو یہ موقع ضائع نہ کیجیے گا۔
