IBA Community Welfare Society 2021-2022
Founded in 2011, it is through the commitment of its executive team and volunteers that CWS has been able to establish itself as a community welfare organization. CWS aims to create awareness about the issues faced by the underprivileged sector of society and provides IBA students various opportunities in community service. We live in a society where there

is considerable disparity in living standards - people are deprived of the basic necessities i.e food, water, and shelter. CWS aims to bridge the socio-economic gap and help people through its projects. As future leaders of this society, we believe that it is our duty to give back to the community - We do this through initiatives in Health, Education, Community welfare, and fundraising for various projects. We work towards sustainable, impactful projects that will benefit the community in the long run. Our primary focus has been and will always be our people; we will always continue working for them and striving to make this world a better place. We would not have been able to establish ourselves if it wasn’t for the support from our partners, volunteers, and student body. We are thrilled to announce our collaboration with FRIP for a two-day Life Safety and CPR Training Sessions as part of our Summer Internship Programme. This incredible opportunity has been meticulously designed to equip our dedicated interns with vital safety skills during traumatic situations.

Taking place on the 12th and 13th of June, this intensive training will empower our interns to handle emergency scenarios with confidence and expertise. Through interactive sessions led by experienced professionals from FRIP, participants will learn essential life-saving techniques and gain a deeper understanding of emergency preparedness. Our comprehensive workshop will cover CPR techniques, first aid basics, and essential emergency response strategies.

Hundreds of people in hospitals near you are in need of blood and you can save their lives by donating it.
The IBA Community Welfare Society in collaboration with Rotary Club of Karachi will be holding a blood donation drive on Wednesday 3rd May 2023 at Main Campus for this very purpose.
