Meet Our GCUL Ambassador | Faizan Ali

We are pleased to introduce Faizan Ali as GCUL Ambassador at Centre for Disability Empowerment (CDE).

A BS Management Sciences student at GCUL, originally from Nankana Sahib / Sharqpur Sharif and currently living in Lahore, Faizan joined CDE a month ago and has actively participated in the Rescue 1122 visit. He is eager to contribute and be part of CDE's journey towards an inclusive society.

ہمت کارڈ معزور افراد کیلئے ایک بہت بڑا تحفہ امید ہے بہت بڑا مالی سہارا بھی ہے معاشرہ میں معزور افراد کو نظر انداز کیا جاتا ہے لیکن ہمت کارڈ بہت بڑا سہارا بنتا ہے جس سے گورنمنٹ کی وجہ سے گورنمنٹ کے اس احسن اقدام سے معزور افراد کی عزت بھی محفوظ رہتی ہے

افرادِ باہم معذوری DPMIS پورٹل یا PWD Services App کے ذریعے درخواست جمع کروا سکتے ہیں۔ درخواست جمع کروانے کے بعد مقررہ تاریخ پر طبی معائنہ بورڈ کے سامنے پیش ہو کر معذوری کی تشخیص کروائیں اور معذوری سرٹیفکیٹ حاصل کریں۔

Today, on the International Day of Older Persons - 1st October, we at Centre for Disability Empowerment - CDE honor and celebrate the older persons in our families and communities.

Older persons, including older persons with disabilities, deserve justice, inclusion, dignity, independence and empowerment.

This year's UN Theme: “The Age of Longevity: Rethinking Systems for Longer Lives” reminds us that we must rethink our healthcare, our support systems, and our communities to ensure everyone can age with dignity, health, and respect.
