PSDF signed an MoU with BISP Pakistan to connect skilled youth with industry-aligned vocational training and employment pathways across Punjab.

The collaboration will integrate BISP beneficiaries into PSDF's ongoing and upcoming training programs, providing training, learning materials, stipends where applicable, and certification recognised by NAVTTC and aligned with HEC's NVQF. PSDF, in collaboration with UN Women Pakistan, conducted Gender Sensitization Training sessions for its employees to reinforce the principles of equality, inclusion, and respect in the workplace, contributing towards SDG 5: Gender Equality.

Led by UN Women Pakistan Programme Coordinator, Sidra Humayun, the sessions explored key concepts including the distinction between s*x and gender, unconscious bias, gender stereotypes, inclusive language, and creating a gender-responsive workplace.

The discussions also highlighted Pakistan’s commitments under the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW), and the Protection against Harassment of Women at the Workplace Act, 2010, including complaint mechanisms, the role of Inquiry Committees, and the Provincial Ombudsperson Punjab.

As an institution committed to inclusive and equitable development, PSDF continues to strengthen gender-responsive practices across its workplace and programs to enable a culture of respect, safety, and equal opportunity for all.
