𝗠𝗣𝗗𝗗 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝘂𝗻𝗷𝗮𝗯’𝘀 𝗔𝗜 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆
The Management & Professional Development Department (MPDD), Government of Punjab continues to lead from the front in building a future-ready public service.

During the current financial year 2025–26, MPDD successfully conducted 𝟭𝟱 𝗰𝗼𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 of Two-Day Training Workshops titled “𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 (𝗔𝗜) 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻”, training 𝟯𝟬𝟬 government officers at the Punjab Institute of Management & Professional Development (PIMPD).

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀?
This flagship initiative is strengthening digital capacity across the provincial workforce and supports the Government’s vision of modern, technology-enabled public administration.

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀
Participants gained practical knowledge of how AI can transform digital governance. It equipped them with AI skills by hands-on exposure to leading AI tools and applications, including:
• ChatGPT, DeepSeek, Gemini
• Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity
• NotebookLM
• Gamma App, Genspark, Prezi, Skywork
• AI plugins
• Personal chatbot creation

𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁
• AI modules have been institutionalized within 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝘀, benefiting 𝟑𝟐𝟎+ additional officers
• AI-focused engagements extended outreach to academia, hospitals, and development sector
• A Training of Trainers workshop was held in collaboration with 𝗟𝗨𝗠𝗦 (October 2025) to build in-house AI training capacity for the faculty and officers of MPDD

Through these forward-looking interventions, MPDD is systematically equipping Punjab’s civil servants with practical, future-ready competency, reinforcing the province’s transition towards efficient, data-informed, and innovation-driven governance.

𝐌𝐫. 𝐈𝐪𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐧, Secretary to Government of Punjab, Management & professional Development Department (MPDD), awarded completion certificates to the participants of the 4th Public Policy and Management (PPM) Course, which was specially designed for the promotion of officers from BS-19 to BS-20 under a structured professional development framework.

Officers of Finance Department, Planning & Development Board, and Livestock & Dairy Development Department were among participants who also had opportunity for developing inter-departmental collaboration to enhance public sector governance and policy management skills.

During the concluding session, course completion certificate and sports shields were also presented to the best performing and most active participants in recognition of their exemplary performance, dedication, and enthusiastic engagement throughout the training program.

The ceremony highlighted the importance of capacity building and continuous professional development for strengthening administrative and policy-making competencies in the public sector.

Kashmir Solidarity Day is being observed at MPDD to reaffirm unwavering support for the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). The day underscores the need for the international community to raise its collective voice in support of the oppressed Kashmiris and to draw attention to their just struggle for fundamental rights.

Participants of the 7th Post Induction Training Course for newly inducted PMS officers from the Punjab Institute of Management and Professional Development visited the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) and held a meeting with Mr. Faheem Ur Rehman Saigol, President LCCI, Mr. Tanveer Ahmed Sheikh, Senior Vice President, Mr. Khurram Lodhi, Vice President. Mr. Zafar Mehmood Chaudhry, Former Senior Vice President of LCCI, was also present in the meeting.
