Established in partnership with Youth Council for Anti Narcotics (YOCFAN) and government stakeholders, DATH delivers evidence-based prevention programs, capacity building trainings, and awareness initiatives across educational instit

utions, communities, and professional sectors. Our mission is to protect young people, strengthen families, and promote a healthier, drug-free society through coordinated action, research, and policy engagement.

The Drug Advisory Training Hub (DATH) continues to strengthen strategic partnerships for a safer and healthier drug free society.

H.E. Yasin Joyia, Patron-in-Chief DATH, had a productive meeting with Mr. Imran Kishwar DIG Admin Lahore at his office, where matters related to mutual collaboration and areas of shared interest were discussed.

The discussion focused on strengthening cooperation and exploring opportunities for joint initiatives in drug prevention, community engagement, and collective efforts towards building a safer and drug-free society.

Today, Syed Zulfiqar Hussain Consultant, Anti Drugs/Narcotics Campaign alongwith Syed Mohsin Vice Chairman Drug Advisory Training Hub (DATH) actively participated in the Consultative Meeting on “Prevention and Control of Narcotics in Punjab” organized by the Home Department, Government of Punjab.

During the meeting, DATH shared its ongoing initiatives and highlighted collaborative efforts with government departments focusing on drug prevention, awareness campaigns, youth engagement, capacity building, and community-based interventions aimed at building a healthier and safer society.

The meeting was presided over by Dr. Ahmed Javed Qazi Secretary Home, Government of the Punjab. It was also a pleasure meeting Col. (R) Amir Shahzad CEO PCC and discussing opportunities for stronger collaboration and collective action towards a drug-free and resilient Punjab.

Creating drug-free workplaces is essential for a healthier and more productive society.

Drug Advisory Training Hub (DATH) organized a special awareness session on Drug Use Prevention in the Workplace at The Nishat Hotel, Lahore. The session aimed to promote a safe, healthy, and drug-free working environment while enhancing awareness among employees and stakeholders.

During the session, Syed Zulfiqar Hussain, Consultant Anti-Drug Campaign, highlighted that substance use not only affects individuals’ health and well-being but also impacts organizational performance, productivity, and workplace safety. He emphasized the importance of implementing awareness and training programs based on international prevention standards.

Parliamentary Secretary for Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Punjab Ms. Rushda Lodhi Visits Drug Advisory Training Hub (DATH), where discussions were held on the growing challenge of substance abuse and the need to strengthen treatment and rehabilitation facilities for individuals affected by addiction.

During the visit, Syed Zulfiqar Hussain, Consultant Anti-Drugs Campaign, briefed on ongoing anti-drug initiatives and preventive measures being undertaken to address substance abuse challenges.

Syed Mohsin, Vice Chairman, DATH, also provided a detailed briefing on treatment and rehabilitation facilities and highlighted the importance of strengthening support systems for individuals affected by drug addiction.

Ms. Rushda Lodhi emphasized that the youth are Pakistan’s valuable asset and protecting them from the dangers of drugs remains among the top priorities of the government. She also highlighted that Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz is actively pursuing a zero-tolerance policy against drugs, with strong focus on prevention and rehabilitation efforts.

She further shared plans to visit Punjab Institute of Mental Health (PIMH) and Mayo Hospital during the week to review and strengthen treatment facilities for individuals struggling with addiction.

The visit was attended by Fahmeeda Zeeshan, Incharge Education Unit City Traffic Police, Advocate Altamash, Ms. Sadia Majeed Educationist, and other distinguished participants.

Drug Advisory Training Hub (DATH) appreciates the successful awareness session on Drug Abuse, Precursors and Chemicals organized by the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry Standing Committee on Drug Use Prevention in collaboration with the Counter Narcotics Force (CNF).

The session brought together key stakeholders to highlight the growing challenges of drug abuse and the importance of preventive measures, awareness, and collective action for a safer and healthier society.

Mr. Masood Mukhtar, Secretary Excise, Taxation & Narcotics Control Punjab, and Brig. Mazhar Iqbal, DG Counter Narcotics Force Punjab, joined as Chief Guests, while Mr. Faheem ur Rehman Saigol, President LCCI, presided over the event.

Syed Zulfiqar Hussain, Convener Standing Committee on Drug Use Prevention LCCI, coordinated this initiative aimed at strengthening awareness and promoting a drug-free environment.

DATH and National College of Arts Sign MoU

Drug Advisory Training Hub (DATH) and the National College of Arts (NCA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the second phase of collaboration to further strengthen joint efforts in promoting awareness initiatives, training programmes, and smoke and drug-free campus environments.

During the event, Syed Zulfiqar Hussain, Consultant Anti-Drugs/Narcotics Campaign, signed the MoU with Madam Bushra, Registrar, National College of Arts (NCA) & Prof. Dr. Murtaza Jafri VC NCA. The MoU was endorsed by Deputy Commissioner Lahore, Captain (R) Muhammad Ali Ejaz, reflecting his commitment towards the vision of a Drug-Free Lahore and strengthening collaborative efforts for prevention, awareness, and safer educational environments.

Syed Zulfiqar Hussain also briefed participants on the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Smoke and Drug-Free Campuses, emphasizing the importance of preventive measures, awareness campaigns, and strong institutional partnerships in addressing the growing challenge of substance abuse.

NCA and DATH Join Hands to Raise Awareness Against Drug Abuse

The National College of Arts (NCA), in collaboration with Drug Advisory Training Hub (DATH), organised a Poster Exhibition Against Drug Abuse to raise awareness among students about the harmful effects of narcotics and the importance of building a healthy, responsible, and drug-free society.

The exhibition was formally inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Lahore, Captain (R) Muhammad Ali Ejaz, whose presence highlighted the importance of collective efforts in addressing substance abuse challenges.

The exhibition showcased thought-provoking artwork and creative expressions highlighting the social, psychological, and physical consequences of drug addiction, encouraging students and participants to play an active role in promoting healthier lifestyles and positive social values.

The event was also graced by Prof. Dr. Murtaza Jafri, Vice Chancellor, National College of Arts, Syed Zulfiqar Hussain, Consultant Anti Drugs/Narcotics Campaign, Syed Mohsin Vice Chairman DATH, Mr. Adeel Rashid Secretary General DATH along with distinguished guests and participants.
