Aerial View of the new Azadi Chowk Interchange ... Completed in record time of 165 days ... On average, over two hundred thousand vehicles will daily pass through this junction, saving fuel of Rs 9 million per annum.

A flyover and an elevated roundabout have been constructed under this project at Ravi Road. The roundabout has three up-ramps and three down-ramps; two up-ramps and two down-ramps on Ravi Road, starting from Texali Chowk and ending at Timber Market and vice versa. One up-ramp and a down-ramp have also been constructed on Ahmad Ali Road. The overall length of the interchange is 2.53 kilometer.
Traffic leading to Circular Road from Data Darbar, Shahdara and Timber Market will use this flyover for going to Maulana Ahmed Ali Road, Lorry Adda and other points at Circular Road.

New Circlular Road was also part of this project, which has been completed too. Total length of this road is 1.6 kilometer. This dual carriage way is 14.7 meters wide on each side. Each side comprises of four lanes and every lane is 3.3 meter wide. A roundabout and two U-turns were also made on this road. This new road was started from Maulana Ahmed Ali Road and then connects Minar-e-Pakistan, Lorry Adda, Badami Bagh, Masti Gate and Circular Road.

کہتے ہیں کہ ھِـٹـلـر کو علمِ نجوم کا بہت شوق تھا ۔ ایک روز اُس نے نجومی سے دریافت کیا : میں کس دن مــروں گا ؟

نجومی بولا : آپ کی مـوت یہودیوں کی چھُـٹی کے دن ھو گی ۔ "

اصرار کے باوجود نجومی نے وہ دن نـہ بتایا تو ھٹلر بھڑک اُٹھا ۔ " تم جانتے ھو کہ وہ کون سا دن ھو گا ۔ بتاؤ ! ورنہ میں تمہیں شـوٹ کر دوں گا ۔ "

نجومی خوف زدہ ھو کر بولا : " میں اُس دن کے بارے میں ٹھیک سے نہیں بتا سکتا ۔ کیونکہ جس دن آپ مریں گے ، اُسی دن یہودی خـوشی کے مارے چھٹی منائیں گے ۔ "

جون دو ہزار ایک میں سٹین فورڈشائر برطانیہ میں لورا بک سٹون نامی ایک لڑکی نے ہیلیم گیس سے بھرا ایک غبارہ فضا میں چھوڑا جس پر اس نے اپنا نام اور پتا درج کیا ساتھ یہ بھی لکھا کہ غبارہ جس کو ملے وہ مجھے جواب دے اور آ کر ضرور ملے۔۔
یہ غبارہ اس لڑکی کے گھر سے ایک سو چالیس میل دور پیوسے نامی گاؤں میں ایک اور لڑکی کے گھر کے پچھلے لان میں جا گرا
اب یہاں سے کچھ حیرت انگیز اتفاقات کا سلسلہ شروع ہوتا ہے

جس لڑکی کے گھر یہ غبارہ گرا اس کا نام بھی لورا بک سٹون تھا وہ بھی دس سال کی تھی۔
ان دونوں کے صرف نام ایک جیسے نہیں تھے ان کے قد بھی ایک جیسے تھے ان کے بالوں کا رنگ بھی ایک جیسا تھا۔
جس دن یہ دونوں ملیں دونوں نے گلابی رنگ کی فراک پہن رکھی تھی۔
دونوں لڑکیوں نے گھروں پر پالتو کتے رکھے تھے جو کہ لیبرو ڈاگ کی نسل سے تھے اور دونوں کتوں کا رنگ بھی سیاہ تھا دونوں کتوں کی عمر بھی تین تین سال تھی۔
دونوں لڑکیوں نے سرمئی رنگ کے خرگوش بھی پال رکھے تھے۔
