We also condemn the recent wave of terror across Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa over the past four days — a BLA attack that killed 6, a TTP assault on police in KP leaving 9 dead, 23 injured, and 12 missing, 2 policemen shot dead, 5 civilians hurt in TTP drone strikes on anti-TTP tribal homes, and 4 soldiers killed with 5 injured in Balochistan.

KYF stands in full solidarity with the victims’ families and wishes the injured a swift recovery.

For over two decades, Pakistan has ranked among the world’s most terrorism-afflicted nations — not by accident, but because the ruling class has refused the systemic, meaningful socioeconomic reform needed to shrink the space in which these networks recruit and operate.
Terrorist outfits today deploy quadcopter bombs, surveillance drones, air-to-air missiles, encrypted comms, satellite tech, and NATO-grade weaponry. Military operations against them have become a necessity. But guns alone will not deliver peace. Real, lasting security demands genuine socioeconomic reform, support for the displaced, transparency, and people-centered development.

No more blood for the ruling class’s negligence.
