PAFDA hosted a scientific lecture on “Bioequivalence in Generic Drug R&D”, delivered by Prof. Dr. Nadeem Irfan Bukhari, Professor of Pharmaceutics, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia.

The lecture provided valuable insights into the principles of bioequivalence, covering key influencing factors, testing methodologies, acceptance criteria, and regulatory perspectives. It also highlighted the critical role of bioequivalence in generic drug development and its significance for the pharmaceutical industry.

The interactive session offered PAFDA’s scientific professionals an opportunity to deepen their understanding of contemporary approaches to generic drug research, regulatory assessment, and pharmaceutical innovation. PAFDA had the pleasure of hosting Saaim Rashid Chaudhry, Chairman, Agrarian Association Pakistan, who met with Director General PAFDA, Prof. Dr. Talat Naseer Pasha, along with Senior Management.
