Benevolent Fund Board Punjab Benevolent Fund was established with the aim to serve humanity in 1960. Since then it is providing the services to public servents.

The Punjab Benevolent Fund Board is a governmental organization supporting the serving and retired provincial government employees as well as widows/ children of deceased government servants across the province u

nder the provisions of The Punjab Government Servants Benevolent Fund Ordinance, 1960. The headquarter of the Benevolent Fund Board is located in Lahore, whereas District Benevolent Fund Boards have been constituted to provide easy access to the non-gazetted employees (BS-01 to BS-15) of Attached Departments in their own districts. The fund is made up of compulsory contributions deducted from each government employee on monthly basis at source, at such rates as government may, from time to time, prescribe. Present rate of contribution is 3% of basic salary.

Punjab Government Benevolent Fund is offering scholarships to the children of in-service, retired, or late employees 2023-24. Scholarships will be awarded to those children who have passed matriculation or higher examinations with a minimum of 60% marks and are enrolled in higher classes. Before April 2024
