Nature of the event:
This was an academic seminar by the department pf Arabic And Islamic studies, aimed to explore the propagation of Islam in America and its promotion , discussing
the importance of understanding Islam and its teachings in the modern context.
Objectives:
•To explore the history, demographics, and the current state of Muslim communities in Western societies.
•To highlighting the importance of Moral values,justice and the compassion in Islam, and showcase its contribution to American societies.
•To encourage mutual respect, tolerance and cooperation between Muslims and non muslims in America.
Outcome:
•Increased awareness and understanding of Islam and its teachings among non muslims in America .
•Promotion of interfaith dialogues and cooperation between Muslims and non muslims.
•Enhanced knowledge and confidence among Muslims youth in America To engage with their communities and share their faith.
•Identification of opportunities for Muslim organizations and individual to contribute positively to American societies.
•Development of strategies for promoting Islamic values and teachings in American contexts.
