Punjab Government has allocated one hundred billion rupees for the uplift of agriculture sector in the recent budget.

Talking to newsmen in Multan, additional secretary agriculture, Hussain Sardar said that campaigns have been started on radio, TV and print media to inform the farmer community about these issues.

He added that three billion rupees have been fixed in the budget for Cotton Seed Reform Project to address cotton crop issues.

He said government has approved the formation of Punjab Agriculture Commission to solve the problems of agriculture sector.
