Jhandir Library

Jhandir Library Masood Jhandir Research Library Masood Jhandir Research Library is the largest private library of Pakistan. It is a post-graduate residential research library.

It contains more than 333,000 titles. It is situated in a small village of District Vehari (Punjab). It is sponsored by three brothers who are land-owners namely Mian Masood Ahmad, Mian Mahmood Ahmad and Mian Ghulam Ahmad Jhandir. The latter has been conferred President’s National Civil Award Tamgh-i-Imtiaz in 2013 for collection and preservation of the national heritage. Mian Haroon Jhandir MBA (

USA) is the Secretary of Library Management Committee. The new library complex completed in 2007 built on 21,000 sq.ft covered area is surrounded by a 5-acre charming park.
