Milad-e-Mustafa ﷺ Celebration

On the blessed occasion of 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal, a beautiful Milad-e-Mustafa ﷺ ceremony was organized, in which the students of the Government Institute for Hearing and Speech Impairment, Mansehra participated with great enthusiasm and confidence.

Principal Ms. Kiran Irshad and the entire staff worked tirelessly with the students to prepare them for the event. The students participated in Naat, Sign Language presentations, Kalma-e-Tayyaba, the First Kalma, calligraphy competitions, and various other activities.

Their impressive participation beautifully demonstrated that hearing impairment is not a limitation to their abilities or dreams. They are an important and valuable part of our society and have the same love, respect, and devotion for Prophet Muhammad ﷺ as every other child.

Their performances were a wonderful reflection of their talent, confidence, and love for the Holy Prophet ﷺ. May Allah bless our special children with continued success, happiness, and countless opportunities to shine. Ameen.

Alhamdulillah
A spiritually enriching ceremony was held today at the Government School for Children with Visual Impairments, Mansehra, in observance of the blessed month of Rabi-ul-Awal.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by Hamd in praise of Allah Almighty. A Naat was presented in honour of the Holy Prophet ﷺ, adding spiritual grace to the occasion. Students participated in a quiz competition based on the Seerah of the Holy Prophet ﷺ, followed by speeches reflecting on various aspects of his blessed life. A session of Durood-o-Salam was also held as part of the proceedings.
Mr. Sajjad, representing the Department of Social Welfare, District Mansehra, attended the ceremony and shared his remarks with the audience. The event concluded with a special Dua.
The ceremony was attended by the heads and faculty members of institutions functioning under the Department of Social Welfare, Mansehra.
The administration of the Government School for Children with Visual Impairments, Mansehra, was commended for its efforts in organizing this meaningful event.

District Office Social Welfare, Mansehra celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The special children/students from all three Special Education Institutes actively participated in the celebrations and expressed their love, devotion and patriotism for Pakistan through various activities and performances.

Assistant Commissioner Mansehra, Ms. Sana Fatima, and District Officer Social Welfare, Mansehra, also attended the programme and appreciated the enthusiastic participation and performances of the special students.

The enthusiasm, confidence and active participation of our special students made the celebration truly meaningful and memorable.

The First Introductory and Coordination Meeting with the registered NGOs of District Mansehra was held on 14-07-2026 under the chairmanship of the District Officer, Social Welfare Department, Mansehra. The meeting focused on strengthening coordination and collaboration between the Social Welfare Department Mansehra and registered NGOs. During the meeting, the awareness campaign on the prevention of dengue fever was also finalized, with emphasis on precautionary measures and community awareness to support the district wide dengue prevention initiative.

وزیر اعلیٰ ہاؤس میں ڈی سی ایس ڈبلیو کے نو منتخب چیئرپرسنز میں تقرری کے احکامات تقسیم کرنے کی باوقار تقریب منعقد ہوئی۔
تقریب میں وزیر اعلیٰ خیبرپختونخوا سہیل خان آفریدی، ڈپٹی اسپیکر خیبرپختونخوا اسمبلی ثریا بی بی، چیئرپرسن ڈی سی ایس ڈبلیو خیبرپختونخوا ڈاکٹر سمیرا شمس، سیکرٹری سوشل ویلفیئر سمیت دیگر متعلقہ حکام نے شرکت کی۔

اس موقع پر وزیر اعلیٰ نے تمام نو منتخب سربراہان کو اپنے ہاتھوں سے تقرری کے نوٹیفکیشن حوالے کیے اور اس عزم کا اظہار کیا کہ صوبائی حکومت خواتین کو درپیش مسائل کے حل، ان کے قانونی و سماجی تحفظ اور فیصلہ سازی میں ان
کی مؤثر نمائندگی کے لیے عملی اقدامات جاری رکھے گی۔
اپنے خطاب میں وزیر اعلیٰ سہیل خان آفریدی نے کہا کہ خواتین کسی بھی معاشرے کی ترقی میں بنیادی ستون کی حیثیت رکھتی ہیں اور ان کے حقوق کا تحفظ عمران خان کے اس وژن کا اہم حصہ ہے جس میں ایک منصفانہ، بااختیار اور فلاحی معاشرے کی تشکیل کو اولین ترجیح دی گئی۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ تحریک انصاف کی حکومت نے ہمیشہ خواتین کی عزت، تحفظ اور خودمختاری کے لیے مؤثر پالیسی سازی پر یقین رکھا ہے اور ڈی سی ایس ڈبلیو کے پلیٹ فارم کو مزید فعال بنایا جائے گا تاکہ ضلع کی سطح پر خواتین کی آواز کو مضبوط نمائندگی مل سکے۔

خیبر پختونخوا کمیشن برائے وقارِ نسواں (KPCSW) کے زیرِ اہتمام اور SPO کے تعاون سے نومنتخب ضلعی کمیٹیوں برائے وقارِ نسواں (DCSWs) کی افتتاحی و تعارفی تقریب پشاور میں منعقد ہوئی

اس دو روزہ تقریب کا مقصد ضلعی سطح پر خواتین کے حقوق کے تحفظ، ان کے وقار اور انصاف تک رسائی کے نظام کو مزید مؤثر بنانا ہے۔ شرکاء کو SOPs اور KP Domestic Violence Act 2021 کے حوالے سے تفصیلی آگاہی اور رہنمائی فراہم کی گئی تاکہ خواتین کے خلاف گھریلو تشدد کی روک تھام اور فوری معاونت کے نظام کو مضبوط بنایا جا سکے۔

چیئرپرسن ڈاکٹر سمیرا شمس کی قیادت میں کمیشن خواتین کے تحفظ اور بااختیار بنانے کے لیے عملی اقدامات کو مزید مؤثر انداز میں آگے بڑھا رہا ہے۔ ان کی رہنمائی اور وژن صوبے بھر میں خواتین کے حقوق کے فروغ کے لیے نہایت اہم کردار ادا کر رہے ہیں۔

اسی موقع پر صوبائی سیکرٹری خیبر پختونخوا کمیشن برائے وقارِ نسواں شازیہ عطا نے اپنے خطاب میں ضلعی کمیٹیوں کی اہمیت پر زور دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ یہ کمیٹیاں خواتین کے مسائل کے بروقت حل، قانونی تحفظ، اور ضلعی سطح پر مؤثر نمائندگی میں کلیدی کردار ادا کریں گی۔ انہوں نے اس عزم کا اعادہ کیا کہ کمیشن خواتین کے وقار، تحفظ اور بااختیار بنانے کے لیے ہر ممکن اقدامات جاری رکھے گا

تقریب کے دوران ڈائریکٹر پروگرامنگ آمنہ درانی نے شرکاء کو ضلعی کمیٹیوں کے کردار، ذمہ داریوں، طریقۂ کار اور کمیشن کے مینڈیٹ کے حوالے سے جامع بریفنگ دی۔ انہوں نے خواتین کے حقوق کے تحفظ، شکایات کے مؤثر ازالے، اور ضلعی سطح پر رابطہ و معاونت کے نظام کو مزید فعال بنانے کے اہم نکات پر تفصیلی روشنی ڈالی

وومن کمیشن کے فنانس ہیڈ نور محمد صاحب نے تقریب کے انتظامی اور مالیاتی امور کے مؤثر انعقاد میں اہم کردار ادا کیا۔ انہوں نے پروگرام کی کامیاب تکمیل، وسائل کے بہتر استعمال اور ادارہ جاتی معاونت کے حوالے سے اپنی خدمات پیش کیں، جو اس تقریب کی کامیابی میں نمایاں رہیں

تقریب کے دوران ایک سوال و جواب کا خصوصی سیشن بھی منعقد کیا گیا، جس میں ضلعی چیئرپرسنز اور ڈسٹرکٹ سوشل ویلفیئر آفیسرز نے وومن کمیشن سے مختلف سوالات کیے، جن کے ڈائریکٹر پروگرامنگ آمنہ دارنی اور وومن کمیشن کی ٹیم نے تفصیلی اور جامع جوابات فراہم کیے

چیئرپرسن وومن کمیشن خیبر پختونخواہ ڈاکٹر سمیرا شمس کی جانب سے تمام شرکاء، ضلعی کمیٹیوں کے چیئرپرسنز،ڈسٹرکٹ سوشل ویلفیئر افیسررز، اور تعاون کرنے والے اداروں کا تہہ دل سے شکریہ ادا کیا گیا جن کی شرکت اور معاونت سے یہ اہم تقریب کامیابی سے منعقد ہوئی

19th Ramadan on 09/03/2025, Social Welfare Department Mansehra arranged following AFTAAR DASTARKHWANS under the directives of Provincial Govt. and supervision of Deputy Commissioner Mansehra.

1. The Aftaar Dastarkhwan was arranged in collaboration with *Right to live organization* at General Bus Stand Larri Adda Mansehra. About 250 Rozadaars were offered with Aftaari.

2. AFTAAR DASTARKHWAN at *Main Bazar Jabori Mansehra* by *JUMA KHAN WELFARE ORGANIZATION MANSEHRA*. About *250* Rozadaars were offered with Aftaari.

3. AFTAAR DASTARKHWAN at *Al Mustafa Hospital Dhodial Mansehra* by *Al MUSTAFA TRUST*. About *235* Rozadaars were offered with Aftaari.

4. AFTAAR DASTARKHWAN at *PANAGAH KATH* Mansehra by *Provincial Government Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. About 130* Rozadaar were offered with AFtaari.

*Total Aftaar beneficiaries are about 865*
