A special ceremony and Walk were organized at the Postmaster General South Punjab Circle Office to commemorate the 75 years of friendship between Pakistan and China. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from postal employees and senior officers, including Deputy Postmaster General Rai Saifullah, Assistant Postmaster General Asma Hafeez, Assistant Director Muhammad Ishaq Baloch, Assistant Director Muhammad Imran, Assistant Director Muhammad Sohail Imran along with other officers and staff members.
During the ceremony, Deputy Postmaster General Rai Saifullah addressed the participants and highlighted the importance, strength, and long-standing relationship between Pakistan and China. He emphasized that Pakistan-China friendship is often described as an “all-weather friendship” built on mutual trust, cooperation, and shared interests. He further explained that this strong partnership has played a vital role in supporting Pakistan’s economic growth through trade, infrastructure development, investment opportunities, and major development initiatives. He also highlighted that cooperation between both countries has contributed significantly to improving connectivity, creating employment opportunities, strengthening business activities, and supporting economic progress.
Deputy Postmaster General Rai Saifullah also briefed the staff on the importance of maintaining strong international relations and appreciating the enduring bond between Pakistan and China. The event reflected unity, goodwill, and appreciation for the historic and long-lasting friendship shared by both nations.
