The town has a banquet hall called the Marahaba. Within the town, Mangtanwala village has fertile land and rich from rice and wheat crops. Sir Ganga Ram was born in this village. It has a traditional design of mosque. There are two large mosques at More Khunda, a stone’s throw from each other. One has an exceptionally high minaret that dominates this town’s skyline.
