Who We Are? Established in December 2013, as a national, non-profit, non-governmental organization under the Societies' Registration Act 1860, In Search of Justice (ISJ) committed to aiding underprivileged communities in KP and FATA areas of Pakistan. The Vision that we have and the Mission that we follow encompasses the Core Value and Strategies that we adopt. Our objective is to impart the required skills and knowledge to the citizens and also work for the empowerment (socially and economically) of women and youth particularly. It’s a human-centered NGO. ISJ could also be labeled as an implementing organization which designs and implements various developmental projects with the financial and technical support of international donor agencies and the government. ISJ currently has three regional offices across KP and FATA which help the Head-Office (located in Peshawar) for interventions in its areas of operation all over KP and FATA. Each regional office is a full-fledged administrative setup established to support all kinds of activities planned for that specific area. Vision We envision a progressive society with an open access to justice and prosperity. Mission Our mission is to serve humanity with provision of prosperity and opportunities for the development and empowerment of the marginalized communities through effective participatory approach and development. ISJ Strategies ISJ has quite clear objectives to work with International, National and local partners for achievement of its overall goal and mission. The Organization strongly believes in the true and active participation of all key stakeholders particularly the local communities or program beneficiaries. Fair efforts are taken to ensure that stakeholders participate and contribute at all the stages of the interventions. As its strategy, ISJ particularly focuses to ensure the maximum participation of women, children and youth wherever required and relevant – and particularly if the program has any direct or indirect impacts on their lives. The overall approach of work also identifies the gender sensitivities if any related to the program and strategically addresses the same. Our Community Development Strategy examines the importance of a strategic approach to community development that support community needs, and sources to produce tangible, sustainable benefits. We support many long-term, articulated initiatives with focus on a long-term, coherent development strategy and work in partnership with the local community to have lasting improvement and multi-dimensional success. As we mentioned earlier ISJ is a women led organization, so believe on gender balance as it is an integral part of our strategies. All our programs are equally beneficent for men and women.
