**Digital Textile Skills Programme | Student Feedback 🧵✨**

Hear directly from the young women who participated in the **Digital Textile Skills Programme**, sharing their experiences, key learnings and the skills they gained throughout the training.

The **Directorate of Youth Affairs, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa**, in collaboration with **Kashaf Textile Hub**, provided **32 female designers** with hands-on training in digital textile design, practical assignments and exposure to textile production.

Their feedback reflects how practical learning, creativity and new skills can open pathways towards **self-employment, entrepreneurship and economic opportunities** for young women.

Plastic-Free Pakhtunkhwa | Kurram

The Directorate of Youth Affairs KP, in collaboration with HRSP, organized a one-day awareness workshop at Khyber Model College, Parachinar, focusing on climate change, plastic pollution and environmental responsibility.

The session featured expert discussions, awareness activities and practical initiatives, including tree plantation and a cleanliness drive by students and participants.

The activity concluded with the distribution of certificates and shields, reinforcing the message of responsible youth participation for a cleaner, greener and healthier Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Empowering Youth Through Digital Skills!
The Directorate of Youth Affairs KP, in collaboration with TTSK, successfully concluded a one-week Digital Skills Training Programme for talented youth from the Tribal Areas (Ex-FATA).
The training equipped participants with practical skills in Artificial Intelligence, Graphic Designing, and Video Editing, providing them with valuable tools to explore freelancing, entrepreneurship, and emerging opportunities in the digital economy.
The closing session marked the completion of an engaging learning journey, with participants showcasing their skills and experiences gained throughout the programme.

Youth Exposure Trip | Learning, Leadership & Civic Engagement

The Directorate of Youth Affairs KP, sponsored a youth exposure trip in collaboration with the Young Leaders Parliament (YLP), providing young participants with a first-hand opportunity to explore Pakistan’s parliamentary and governance institutions.

The visit included interactive sessions at the National Assembly, Senate of Pakistan, Pakistan Institute for Parliamentary Services, Chief Minister’s House, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly and Council Hall, offering participants valuable insights into parliamentary processes, leadership and public governance.

The journey extended beyond institutional learning, with participants engaging in a cleanliness drive and interactive youth sessions in Nathia Gali, combining civic responsibility, environmental awareness, learning and meaningful interaction.

Organized by the Directorate of Youth Affairs, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in collaboration with THE NATIVES, the bootcamp brought together 35 young participants from the Newly Merged Districts, offering hands-on learning in digital storytelling, vlogging, content creation and responsible digital media.

Learning beyond the Classroom

The Directorate of Youth Affairs KP, in collaboration with the Youth Alliance for Peace & Development (YAPD), organized an educational visit for 30 students of Government Commerce College Ghalanai, Mohmand, to the Sarhad Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Supreme Art (Pvt.) Ltd.

At the Chamber, students met with the Senior Vice President and took part in a discussion on entrepreneurship, business opportunities, trade, and the role of industries in economic development. At Supreme Art (Pvt.) Ltd., they observed industrial operations, manufacturing processes, and workplace practices firsthand.

The visit gave students valuable practical exposure, connecting their academic learning with real-world business and industrial environments, and reflects the Directorate's commitment to broadening the professional outlook of youth from Mohmand and the wider province.

"Write to Earn 2026" | Four-Day Professional Training Concludes at Baragali

The Directorate of Youth Affairs KP, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in collaboration with the Department of History, University of Peshawar, successfully concluded the four-day "Write to Earn 2026" professional training programme at Baragali Summer Camp, University of Peshawar.

Held from August 24 to 27, the programme brought together 60 young participants from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the Newly Merged Districts, focusing on practical skills in proposal writing, research writing and freelancing.

Led by renowned trainers Dr. Asfandyar Durrani and Mr. Yasir Sermad, the training featured practical workshops, exercises and individual feedback sessions covering proposal development, research methodology, academic writing, freelancing profiles and client communication.

The programme concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony, recognizing participants for their active engagement and commitment to learning.

The initiative reflects the Directorate's commitment to equipping young people with professional and market-oriented skills that can enhance employability, entrepreneurship and self-reliance.
