The Performance Management & Reforms Unit (PMRU), is established in the office of the Chief Secretary by Capt(R) Farrukh Attique, Principal Staff Officer, Office of the Chief Secretary and Dr. Altamash Janjua, Deputy Coordinator (Technical), Reforms Implementation Cell, Office of the Chief Secretary. The PMRU is designed to monitor and manage performance of government departments both at the distr

ict and the provincial level. Several initiatives with support of Directorate of IT and ST&IT Department have been spearheaded by the PMRU which include:

Visit of 45th domain specific MCMC to PMRU – Detailed Briefing on PMRU Systems
On 29/01/2026, a delegation from 45th domain specific MCMC visited the Performance Management & Reforms Unit (PMRU). During the visit, the PMRU team delivered a comprehensive briefing on the organizational setup of PMRU, its mandate, and the various digital applications and online systems developed and managed by the unit to improve governance and public service delivery in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The 45th MCMC delegation appreciated PMRU’s efforts in leveraging technology for governance reforms. The visit concluded with a constructive discussion on future collaboration, system enhancement, and scaling up digital solutions to further strengthen public service delivery in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

صوبائی حکومت کی ہدایات پر مؤثر عوامی خدمات کے لیے اقدامات جاری ہیں۔ وزیراعلیٰ خیبر پختونخوا کی ہدایت پر وال چاکنگ کے خلاف مرحلہ وار کارروائی، بے گھر افراد کو سردی سے محفوظ رکھنے کے لیے پناہ گاہوں میں منتقلی اور مفت کھانا و بنیادی سہولیات کی فراہمی جاری ہے۔لینڈ یوز اینڈ بلڈنگ کنٹرول اتھارٹی کو جدید منصوبہ بندی کے تحت فعال بنا دیا گیا ہے جبکہ گڈ گورننس روڈمیپ کے تحت دسمبر 2025 تک 43 سرکاری سروسز کی ادائیگیاں ڈیجیٹل اور کیش لیس کر دی گئی ہیں

عوامی خدمت، شفافیت اور گڈ گورننس کے فروغ کیلئے صوبائی حکومت کی ہدایات پر اقدامات جاری ہیں۔ ناجائز تجاوزات کے خلاف کاروائیوں میں اس ہفتے 53 غیرقانونی اسٹرکچر ہٹا دئیے گئے ہیں جبکہ محکمہ اوقاف کی اراضی واگزار کرانے کے لئے بھی صوبے بھر میں کاروائیاں جاری ہیں۔
خیبرپختونخوا میں اشیائے خوردونوش پرائس کنٹرول اقدامات میں بہتری آئی ہے۔
قیمتوں کے کنٹرول کے حوالے سے کاروائیاں جاری ہیں جبکہ رمضان المبارک میں مصنوعی مہنگائی کے تدارک کیلئے ضلعی انتظامیہ نے منصوبہ بندی مکمل کرلی ہے۔ سرمایہ کاری کے فروغ کیلئے پبلک پرائیویٹ پارٹنرشپ اتھارٹی کے قیام کے حوالے سے قانون سازی مکمل کرلی گئی ہے جبکہ نیو پشاور جنرل بس سٹینڈ تکمیل کے آخری مراحل میں ہے اور اگلے مہینے سے آپریشنل ہوگاجبکہ پشاور رنگ روڈ ناردرن سیکشن مسنگ لنک پر بھی کام تیزی سے جاری ہے۔
دارلحکومت پشاور کی اپلفٹ کے اقدامات کے سلسلے پہلے مہینے کے اہداف حاصل کرلیے گئے اور مزید پیشرفت جاری ہے۔ خیبرپختونخوا کے سکولوں میں وزیر اعلٰی خیبرپختونخوا کی ہدایات پر فرنیچر کی فراہمی بھی جاری ہے۔

With deep sorrow, we bid farewell to a friend, a colleague, and a valued member of our field team. Akbar Shah, Focal Person PMRU at the Office of the Deputy Commissioner Orakzai, has departed from this temporary world, leaving many hearts heavy with grief.

A 28-member delegation of the Mid Career Management Course (MCMC) from the Pakistan Provincial Services Academy, Peshawar, visited the PMRU (Public Management and Reform Unit) at the Office of the Chief Secretary KP, Peshawar on 11th July 2024.
The participants were briefed by Director PMRU, Mr. Shauzab Abbas, and Deputy Director, Ms. Sana Hafeez, on the innovative initiatives and success stories of PMRU in transforming public service delivery and e-Governance in the province. The delegation was impressed by the PMRU's strategic approach to leveraging technology, data analytics, and process re-engineering to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of government services.
This knowledge-sharing engagement aims to equip the MCMC participants with fresh insights and ideas to drive meaningful reforms and excellence in public service, as they move forward in their careers.
