Opening Ceremony of Mandatory Training Program (MTP-153)

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Higher Education Academy of Research and Training (HEART) commenced the Mandatory Training Program (MTP-153) today, 24 August 2026, for 50 lecturers from General and Commerce Colleges under the Higher Education, Archives & Libraries Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The opening ceremony was attended by the UET Peshawar team, led by Dr. Arif Khattak, Director ORIC, and Ms. Shaista Afridi, Director Trainings and team of the STEAM Project, besides the officers and staff of HEART.

The training is being conducted under the STEAM Project with the objective of strengthening the professional capacity of college faculty through modern teaching approaches, innovative practices, technology integration and enhanced pedagogical skills.

The Director HEART welcomed the participants and emphasized the importance of professional development, punctuality, regular attendance, discipline and active participation throughout the training.

HEART extends its best wishes to all participants for a productive, engaging and rewarding learning experience.
