The Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) held its meeting under the Chairmanship of Muhammad Azam Khan, the Additional Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on 23rd December, 2016. The meeting was attended by Mr. Shahab Ali Shah, Secretary P&D Department, Muhammad Ayaz, Chief Economist its members and respective administrative Secretaries. The forum considered 70 projects pertaining to different sectors including Elementary & Secondary, Higher Education, Sports & Tourism, Relief & Rehabilitation Department, Local Development, Special Development Unit, Local Development, Roads, DWSS, Water, Home, Law & Justice, Industries, ST&IT, Transport and Health sectors for the uplift of the province. The forum approved 63 Projects with an estimated cost of Rs. 27262.803 millions. 7 projects were deferred due to inadequate designs which were returned to the respective departments for rectification and improvements.
