August 5, 2019 remains one of the darkest chapters in history. The entire staff of the Directorate General On Farm Water Management, Peshawar, expressed their solidarity with the people of Kashmir and reaffirmed that they stand with the Kashmiri people.

They stated that Kashmiris and the people of Pakistan can never forget August 5, 2019, when India unilaterally and illegally revoked the special status of Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir.

Zareef Khan Tube Well Pipe Watercourse
Village Kabal, District Swat,
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

The construction of the Zareef Khan Tube Well Watercourse has significantly improved irrigation facilities for local farmers in Village Kabal, District Swat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The watercourse now provides reliable irrigation to approximately 100 kanals of agricultural land.
With a consistent and efficient water supply, crop productivity has increased, resulting in higher agricultural production. The project has also reduced the difficulties previously faced by farmers in accessing irrigation water, saving both time and effort.
As a result, the farming community is highly satisfied with the improved irrigation system, which has enhanced their agricultural activities and contributed to better livelihoods.
