Despite the distribution of laptops under the Prime Minister’s Laptop Scheme 2025 in almost all provinces, students of Balochistan are still waiting for implementation. No clear timeline has been announced by the provincial government, universities, or relevant authorities, which reflects continued neglect and unequal treatment. In today’s digital education system, laptops are a basic academic necessity, especially for students in underdeveloped regions like Balochistan where resources are already limited. We strongly urge the Government of Balochistan and the Higher Education Commission (HEC) to immediately address this delay, announce a transparent schedule, and ensure that students of Balochistan receive the same educational rights and opportunities as students in other provinces. This is not a demand for special privilege, but a call for fairness and equal access to education.
