Under the esteemed leadership of Chairperson, Child Protection & Welfare Bureau, *MPA Sarah Ahmad, and the respected Director General, CP&WB, the DCPU Rajanpur team* conducted an awareness session at a village-level market.
The session focused on raising awareness about the *1121 Child Protection Helpline,* child labour, child begging, and the Child *Marriage Restraint Act, 2026.* The community was briefed about the importance of protecting children from exploitation, abuse, hazardous labour, begging, and early marriage, as well as the available mechanisms for reporting and seeking assistance.
The team encouraged community members to play an active role in safeguarding children and ensuring their rights and well-being.

راجن پور: معصوم بچی سے زیادتی کا افسوسناک واقعہ، چائلڈ پروٹیکشن بیورو اور پولیس کا فوری اور مربوط ایکشن
راجن پور میں معصوم بچی کے ساتھ پیش آنے والے زیادتی کے انتہائی افسوسناک واقعے پر بچوں کے تحفظ کے ذمہ دار اداروں نے فوری اور مثالی کارروائی کا مظاہرہ کیا ہے۔ چیئرپرسن چائلڈ پروٹیکشن اینڈ ویلفیئر بیورو پنجاب، رکنِ صوبائی اسمبلی (ایم پی اے) سارہ احمد اور معزز ڈائریکٹر جنرل کی خصوصی اور متحرک قیادت میں، ڈسٹرکٹ چائلڈ پروٹیکشن یونٹ (DCPU) راجن پور کی ٹیم نے اطلاع ملتے ہی انتہائی مستعدی سے ریسپانس دیا۔ ٹیم نے فوری مداخلت کرتے ہوئے متاثرہ بچی کے تحفظ، جامع دیکھ بھال اور اس کی فلاح و بہبود کے لیے تمام ضروری اور حفاظتی اقدامات کو یقینی بنایا۔ بچی کو فوری انصاف کی فراہمی اور درندہ صفت ملزمان کو قانون کے کٹہرے میں لانے کے لیے چائلڈ پروٹیکشن بیورو کی راجن پور ٹیم نے سپرنٹنڈنٹ آف پولیس (ایس پی انویسٹی گیشن) راجن پور سے ایک ہنگامی رابطہ اجلاس منعقد کیا۔ اس اہم ملاقات میں کیس کی تفتیش کی اب تک کی پیش رفت کا تفصیلی جائزہ لیا گیا۔ پولیس نے ملزم کو گرفتار کرلیا ہے۔ ایس پی صاحب نے بچی اور اس کی فیملی کو بھرپور تعاون کا وعدہ کیا اور بتایا قانون کے مطابق قرار واقعی سزا دلوائی جائے گی۔متاثرہ بچی اور اس کی فیملی نے چائیلڈ پروٹیکشن کی ٹیم اور ایسں پی صاحب کی اب تک کی کاروائی پر اطمینان کا اظہار کیا۔

چائلڈ پروٹیکشن بیورو اور راجن پور پولیس کا یہ مربوط ایکشن اس بات کا ثبوت ہے کہ معصوم بچوں کو ہر قسم کے تشدد اور درندگی سے بچانے اور انہیں فوری انصاف دلانے کے لیے تمام حکومتی ادارے پوری قوت اور اخلاص کے ساتھ ایک پیج پر ہیں۔

A coordination meeting was also held with the Superintendent of Police (SP investigation) to review the progress of the investigation and strengthen interdepartmental collaboration for the timely delivery of justice. This coordinated response reflects the Child Protection & Welfare Bureau's unwavering commitment to protecting children, upholding their rights, and ensuring comprehensive care and legal protection.

During the campaign, participants were informed about the *Child Helpline 1121* , a dedicated service for reporting cases of *child abuse*, *neglect*, *violence*, and children in need of protection. The students were trained how to *safeguard* them, *good touch* *Bad Touch* . The team also raised awareness regarding child marriage prevention and highlighted the provisions of the *Child Marriage Restraint Act 2026,* emphasizing the legal consequences of underage marriages and the collective responsibility of society to protect children.
