Israel and the United States, Netanyahu Global Terrorists: Speakers Address Protest in Bristol Under the International Human Rights Movement
Bristol, United Kingdom: A large public protest against attacks on Iran was organized in Bristol City Centre on 8 March under the banner of the International Human Rights Movement. A significant number of people from Bristol and surrounding areas joined the demonstration and raised their voices for peace, justice, and the protection of civilians. The participants strongly condemned military aggression and called for an immediate end to attacks on Iran, urging the international community to take practical steps to stop policies of war and destruction.
Speakers at the protest said that military escalation poses a serious threat to global stability and puts innocent lives at risk. They stressed that powerful states must respect international law and abandon policies that lead to war and human suffering.
Chairman of the International Human Rights Movement Rana Basharat Ali Khan said in his address that attacks on Iran must stop immediately. He stated that the United States and Israel must be held accountable for actions that threaten peace and stability in the Middle East. He added that people of conscience around the world must unite and raise their voices against injustice and aggression.
President of the International Human Rights Movement South Wales Waheed Faqir said people across the world must stand against injustice and aggression, adding that the bombing of any country only increases the suffering of ordinary civilians.
Chairman of the International Human Rights Movement South Wales Nadeem Arif Butt said lasting peace can only be achieved through dialogue and respect for international law. He emphasized that war policies create instability and lead to long-term human tragedies.
President of the International Human Rights Movement Bristol Malik Saeed said the protest in Bristol demonstrates that communities can unite for justice and peace, and that the people of the city believe in protecting human life and promoting global peace.
Local councillor Abdul Rauf Malik said the safety of civilians must remain the highest priority in any international dispute and called on global leaders to take immediate steps to reduce tensions.
Executive Director of the International Human Rights Movement Arif Khan said international institutions must take clear and effective action to stop aggression and protect human rights.
President of the Pakistan Association Bristol, Chaudhry Mazhar Iqbal, said the global community must work together to stop wars that bring destruction and instability to societies.
International President of the Pakistan Welfare Association, Miss Shehnaz Dar, said humanity demands unity against violence and war and called for immediate steps to restore peace.
Former councillor and President of PTI South Wales Mubashir Chaudhry said the world must stand firmly against unjust wars and must respect the dignity and sovereignty of every nation.
Local journalist Waseem Hashmi said that in wars it is ordinary civilians who suffer the most and that the global media has a responsibility to highlight the human cost of conflict.
Local journalist Jahangir Khan said public awareness and responsible journalism play an important role in preventing conflicts and promoting peace.
Bristol-based internationally renowned poet Mehboob Chaudhry said writers and poets have a responsibility to raise their voices for humanity, justice, and peace and to bring the suffering of oppressed people to the attention of the world.
Malik Shahid Awan said communities must unite to defend human dignity and oppose violence so that peace and justice can prevail in the world.
From Bristol Mosque, Kamran Khan said that faith teaches respect for human life and calls for justice and compassion for all people.
Representing Bristol Mosque, Javed Malik said people of faith stand with peace and reject aggression, injustice, and destruction.
Leaders and representatives from a wide range of communities also participated in the protest. Participants included representatives from Iranian, Afghan, British and other communities who expressed solidarity against attacks on Iran. Representatives and leaders from Bristol Pakistan and the Bristol Bangladesh Association, including the President of the Bangladesh Association, also attended the demonstration. Members of the Sikh community also participated and voiced their support for peace and human rights.
Participants at the protest demanded that the international community take immediate steps to stop attacks on Iran and ensure respect for international law. They emphasized that global conflicts must be resolved through dialogue and diplomatic efforts rather than war. The protest concluded with a strong message that people who believe in justice will continue to raise their voices against oppression and war and will stand for the protection of innocent lives.
The International Human Rights Movement (IHRM) is an international human rights organization working for justice, peace, and the protection of human rights across the world. The movement is led by its Chairman Rana Basharat Ali Khan and has organized numerous demonstrations, campaigns, and awareness initiatives in different countries. In 2023, the International Human Rights Movement organized a historic demonstration in Bristol, United Kingdom, where more than 50,000 people participated in a protest against the war in Palestine. Earlier, in 2017, the movement organized a major protest in London where more than 40,000 people demonstrated against the atrocities committed against Rohingya Muslims in Burma (Myanmar). The organization also held a historic protest in front of the United Nations Office in Geneva, Switzerland, where more than 30,000 people gathered to raise their voices for the rights and freedom of the people of Kashmir. In addition, the International Human Rights Movement has organized hundreds of demonstrations and campaigns across the world against wars and human rights violations in Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen, Kashmir, and Iran. In this regard, Inam Bashar Sultan, a social activist associated with the movement, has actively participated in various humanitarian campaigns, public awareness initiatives, and protest activities supporting justice, peace, and the rights of oppressed communities around the world.

برسٹل، برطانیہ: انٹرنیشنل ہیومن رائٹس موومنٹ برسٹل کے زیر اہتمام 8 مارچ کو برسٹل سٹی سینٹر میں ایران پر حملوں کے خلاف ایک بڑے عوامی احتجاجی مظاہرے کا انعقاد کیا گیا۔ برسٹل اور گرد و نواح سے بڑی تعداد میں لوگوں نے اس مظاہرے میں شرکت کی اور امن، انصاف اور شہریوں کے تحفظ کے لیے اپنی آواز بلند کی۔ مظاہرین نے فوجی جارحیت کی شدید مذمت کرتے ہوئے ایران پر حملوں کے فوری خاتمے کا مطالبہ کیا اور کہا کہ عالمی برادری کو جنگ اور تباہی کی سیاست کو روکنے کے لیے عملی اقدامات کرنے چاہئیں۔
مظاہرے سے خطاب کرنے والے مقررین نے کہا کہ فوجی کشیدگی عالمی استحکام کے لیے سنگین خطرہ ہے اور اس کے نتیجے میں بے گناہ انسانوں کی جانیں خطرے میں پڑ جاتی ہیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ طاقتور ریاستوں کو بین الاقوامی قانون کا احترام کرنا چاہیے اور ایسی پالیسیوں کو ترک کرنا چاہیے جو جنگ اور انسانی تباہی کا باعث بنتی ہیں۔
انٹرنیشنل ہیومن رائٹس موومنٹ کے چیئرمین رانا بشارت علی خاں نے اپنے خطاب میں کہا کہ ایران پر حملے فوری طور پر بند ہونے چاہئیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ امریکہ اور اسرائیل کو ان اقدامات کے لیے جوابدہ ٹھہرایا جانا چاہیے جو مشرقِ وسطیٰ میں امن اور استحکام کو خطرے میں ڈال رہے ہیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ دنیا کے باشعور لوگوں کو ظلم اور جارحیت کے خلاف متحد ہو کر آواز بلند کرنی چاہیے۔
انٹرنیشنل ہیومن رائٹس موومنٹ ساؤتھ ویلز کے صدر وحید فقیر نے کہا کہ دنیا بھر کے لوگوں کو ناانصافی اور جارحیت کے خلاف کھڑا ہونا ہوگا کیونکہ کسی بھی ملک پر بمباری صرف عام شہریوں کی تکلیف میں اضافہ کرتی ہے۔
انٹرنیشنل ہیومن رائٹس موومنٹ ساؤتھ ویلز کے چیئرمین ندیم عارف بٹ نے کہا کہ حقیقی امن صرف مکالمے اور بین الاقوامی قانون کے احترام کے ذریعے ہی ممکن ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ جنگی پالیسیاں عدم استحکام کو بڑھاتی ہیں اور طویل انسانی المیوں کو جنم دیتی ہیں۔
انٹرنیشنل ہیومن رائٹس موومنٹ برسٹل کے صدر ملک سعید نے کہا کہ برسٹل میں ہونے والا یہ احتجاج اس بات کا ثبوت ہے کہ کمیونٹیز انصاف اور امن کے لیے متحد ہو سکتی ہیں اور اس شہر کے لوگ انسانی جان کے احترام اور عالمی امن کے حامی ہیں۔
مقامی کونسلر عبدالرؤف ملک نے کہا کہ کسی بھی بین الاقوامی تنازعے میں شہریوں کی حفاظت کو اولین ترجیح دی جانی چاہیے اور عالمی رہنماؤں کو فوری طور پر کشیدگی کم کرنے کے لیے اقدامات کرنے چاہئیں۔
انٹرنیشنل ہیومن رائٹس موومنٹ کے ایگزیکٹو ڈائریکٹر عارف خان نے کہا کہ عالمی اداروں کو جارحیت روکنے اور انسانی حقوق کے تحفظ کے لیے واضح اور مؤثر اقدامات کرنا ہوں گے۔
پاکستان ایسوسی ایشن برسٹل کے صدر چوہدری مظہر اقبال نے کہا کہ عالمی برادری کو مل کر ایسی جنگوں کو روکنا چاہیے جو معاشروں میں تباہی اور عدم استحکام پیدا کرتی ہیں۔
پاکستان ویلفیئر ایسوسی ایشن کی انٹرنیشنل صدر مس شہناز ڈار نے کہا کہ انسانیت کا تقاضا ہے کہ دنیا تشدد اور جنگ کے خلاف متحد ہو اور فوری طور پر امن کی بحالی کے لیے اقدامات کیے جائیں۔
سابقہ کونسلر اور پاکستان تحریک انصاف ساؤتھ ویلز کے صدر مبشر چوہدری نے کہا کہ دنیا کو ناانصاف جنگوں کے خلاف کھڑا ہونا چاہیے اور ہر قوم کے وقار اور خودمختاری کا احترام کیا جانا چاہیے۔
مقامی صحافی وسیم ہاشمی نے کہا کہ جنگوں میں سب سے زیادہ نقصان عام شہریوں کو اٹھانا پڑتا ہے اور عالمی میڈیا کی ذمہ داری ہے کہ وہ جنگ کی انسانی قیمت کو اجاگر کرے۔
مقامی صحافی جہانگیر خان نے کہا کہ عوامی آگاہی اور ذمہ دار صحافت تنازعات کو روکنے اور امن کے فروغ میں اہم کردار ادا کر سکتی ہے۔
برسٹل سے تعلق رکھنے والے عالمی شہرت یافتہ شاعر محبوب چوہدری نے کہا کہ ادیبوں اور شعراء کا فرض ہے کہ وہ انسانیت، انصاف اور امن کے لیے اپنی آواز بلند کریں اور مظلوم انسانوں کے دکھ درد کو دنیا کے سامنے لائیں۔
ملک شاہد اعوان نے کہا کہ کمیونٹیز کو انسانی وقار کے دفاع اور تشدد کے خلاف متحد ہونا چاہیے تاکہ دنیا میں امن اور انصاف کا قیام ممکن ہو سکے۔
برسٹل مسجد سے کامران خان نے کہا کہ مذاہب انسانیت کے احترام، انصاف اور ہمدردی کی تعلیم دیتے ہیں اور ہر انسان کی جان کے تحفظ کو بنیادی اہمیت دیتے ہیں۔
برسٹل مسجد کی نمائندگی کرتے ہوئے جاوید ملک نے کہا کہ اہل ایمان ہمیشہ امن کے ساتھ کھڑے ہوتے ہیں اور جارحیت، ظلم اور تباہی کو مسترد کرتے ہیں۔
اس احتجاجی مظاہرے میں مختلف کمیونٹیز سے تعلق رکھنے والے رہنماؤں اور نمائندوں نے بھی بڑی تعداد میں شرکت کی۔ شرکاء میں ایرانی، افغانی، برطانوی (انگریش) اور دیگر مختلف کمیونٹیز کے نمائندے شامل تھے جنہوں نے ایران پر حملوں کے خلاف یکجہتی کا اظہار کیا۔ اس کے علاوہ برسٹل پاکستان، برسٹل بنگلہ دیش ایسوسی ایشن کے صدر اور نمائندوں نے بھی شرکت کی جبکہ سکھ کمیونٹی کے افراد نے بھی مظاہرے میں شرکت کر کے امن اور انسانی حقوق کے حق میں اپنی آواز بلند کی۔
مظاہرے کے شرکاء نے مطالبہ کیا کہ عالمی برادری فوری طور پر ایران پر حملوں کو روکنے کے لیے عملی اقدامات کرے اور بین الاقوامی قانون کا احترام یقینی بنایا جائے۔ انہوں نے اس بات پر زور دیا کہ عالمی تنازعات کا حل جنگ کے بجائے مذاکرات اور سفارتی کوششوں کے ذریعے نکالا جانا چاہیے۔ مظاہرہ اس عزم کے ساتھ اختتام پذیر ہوا کہ دنیا بھر کے انصاف پسند لوگ ظلم اور جنگ کے خلاف اپنی آواز بلند کرتے رہیں گے اور بے گناہ انسانوں کے تحفظ کے لیے جدوجہد جاری رکھیں گے۔
انٹرنیشنل ہیومن رائٹس موومنٹ (IHRM) ایک بین الاقوامی انسانی حقوق کی تنظیم ہے جو دنیا بھر میں انصاف، امن اور انسانی حقوق کے تحفظ کے لیے سرگرم عمل ہے۔ اس تحریک کی قیادت چیئرمین رانا بشارت علی خاں کر رہے ہیں۔ تنظیم مختلف ممالک میں احتجاجی مظاہروں، آگاہی مہمات اور انسانی حقوق کے دفاع کے لیے نمایاں کردار ادا کر چکی ہے۔ سال 2023 میں انٹرنیشنل ہیومن رائٹس موومنٹ نے برسٹل، برطانیہ میں فلسطین کی جنگ کے خلاف ایک تاریخی مظاہرہ منعقد کیا جس میں پچاس ہزار سے زائد افراد نے شرکت کی اور فلسطینی عوام کے حق میں آواز بلند کی۔ اس سے قبل 2017 میں لندن میں برما (میانمار) میں روہنگیا مسلمانوں پر ہونے والے مظالم کے خلاف چالیس ہزار سے زائد افراد پر مشتمل ایک بڑا احتجاجی مظاہرہ منعقد کیا گیا جس میں عالمی برادری سے فوری کارروائی کا مطالبہ کیا گیا۔ اسی طرح اقوام متحدہ کے دفتر جنیوا، سوئٹزرلینڈ کے سامنے کشمیر کے حق میں تیس ہزار سے زائد افراد نے انٹرنیشنل ہیومن رائٹس موومنٹ کی قیادت میں احتجاجی مظاہرہ کیا اور کشمیری عوام کے حقِ خودارادیت کے لیے آواز بلند کی۔ انٹرنیشنل ہیومن رائٹس موومنٹ اس کے علاوہ دنیا بھر میں فلسطین، عراق، افغانستان، شام، یمن، کشمیر اور ایران کی جنگوں اور انسانی حقوق کی خلاف ورزیوں کے خلاف سینکڑوں احتجاجی مظاہرے اور آگاہی مہمات منعقد کر چکی ہے۔ اسی سلسلے میں انعام بشار سلطان ایک سماجی کارکن اور انسانی حقوق کے لیے سرگرم شخصیت کے طور پر مختلف انسانی حقوق کی مہمات، عوامی آگاہی پروگراموں اور احتجاجی سرگرمیوں میں فعال کردار ادا کرتے رہے ہیں اور دنیا بھر میں انصاف، امن اور مظلوم اقوام کے حقوق کے لیے آواز بلند کرنے کی کوششوں کا حصہ ہیں۔
