RCCI PRESIDENT USMAN SHAUKAT ADDRESSES DIPLOMATIC ROUNDTABLE ON AFRICA

RCCI President Mr. Usman Shaukat was invited to and addressed the “Diplomatic Roundtable on Africa”, hosted by The DICE Forum, where he shared valuable perspectives on strengthening Pakistan–Africa trade, investment, and economic cooperation.

The roundtable brought together distinguished diplomats, policymakers, and business leaders for meaningful dialogue on opportunities for deeper engagement with African countries.

RCCI President Usman Shaukat expressed his appreciation to Chairperson DICE Forum Ms. Aliya Agha and H.E. Ambassador Hamid Asghar Khan for the invitation and for facilitating a productive exchange of ideas.

The discussion highlighted the importance of policy dialogue, inclusive leadership, climate action, education, and stronger institutional and economic partnerships in advancing sustainable development and international cooperation.

RCCI HOSTS SESSION ON LIFESTYLE MEDICINE

The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (RCCI) organized an insightful Session on Lifestyle Medicine featuring Dr. Zafar Mirza, Former SAPM for Health and State Minister, as the keynote speaker.

The session was chaired by RCCI President Mr. Usman Shaukat and focused on the importance of healthy lifestyles, preventive healthcare, and promoting better health practices.

Senior Vice President Mr. Khalid Farooq Qazi, Vice President Mr. Fahad Barlas, Executive Committee Members, and RCCI members attended the session and participated in the discussion.

The session provided valuable insights into adopting healthier lifestyles and strengthening awareness around preventive medicine and well-being.

On the occasion, President Usman Shaukat met with Yingming Yang, Vice President for South, Central and West Asia, Chairman FBR, and other distinguished participants, exchanging views on taxation, economic growth, and private-sector development.

🤝 RCCI INKS MoU WITH HENAN CISAS TO BOOST PAKISTAN–CHINA TRADE & INVESTMENT 🇵🇰🇨🇳

The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (RCCI) has signed an MoU with Henan CISAS Human Resources Co., Ltd. (CISAS) to strengthen Pakistan–China trade, investment, business linkages, and economic cooperation.

RCCI President Mr. Usman Shaukat signed and exchanged the MoU, establishing a structured platform for business facilitation and stronger engagement between Pakistani and Chinese enterprises.

The partnership will promote B2B matchmaking, trade delegations, exhibitions, sector-specific business forums, and investment opportunities, while CISAS will serve as RCCI’s business facilitation partner in Henan Province, supporting market-entry guidance, local liaison, and business matchmaking.

🇺🇿 Celebrating Uzbekistan’s 35th Independence Anniversary 🇵🇰🤝🇺🇿

RCCI President Mr. Usman Shaukat, along with Former RCCI President Mr. Zahid Latif Khan, attended a grand reception hosted by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Islamabad to mark the 35th Anniversary of Uzbekistan’s Independence.

Hosted by H.E. Mr. Alisher Tukhtaev, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Pakistan, the event brought together senior government officials, diplomats, parliamentarians, and business leaders.

Federal Minister for Energy Sardar Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari graced the occasion as Chief Guest.

The reception underscored the strong and growing Pakistan-Uzbekistan economic, trade, investment, and strategic partnership, while highlighting new opportunities for business-to-business collaboration.

President Usman Shaukat congratulated the people and Government of Uzbekistan and expressed his commitment to strengthening economic and commercial ties between the two brotherly nations.

Rwanda–Pakistan Business Ties: A New Chapter of Cooperation
H.E. Harerimana Fatou, High Commissioner of Rwanda to Pakistan, visited the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (RCCI) and held a productive meeting with RCCI President Usman Shaukat, SVP Khalid Farooq Qazi, VP Fahad Barlas, and Executive Committee members.
The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral trade, investment, business-to-business linkages, and economic cooperation between Rwanda and Pakistan, with a shared vision of creating new opportunities for the business communities of both countries.
