On 05 August 2026, the Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue), Sahiwal, visited Government College of Technology (Boys), Sahiwal as part of the Mass Tree Plantation Campaign to inspect the designated tree plantation sites within the college.

The purpose of the visit was to review the identified locations where plantation activities will be carried out under the district-wide afforestation initiative. During the visit, the Additional Deputy Commissioner appreciated the college administration for maintaining a clean and well-organized campus and for accurately marking the plantation sites in preparation for the upcoming tree plantation drive.

Dengue Awareness Walk – Government College of Technology, Sahiwal

In compliance with the directives of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Sahiwal and the District Director TEVTA (Sahiwal & Pakpattan), Government College of Technology Sahiwal organized a Dengue Awareness Walk today (31.07.2026), under the leadership of *Principal Dr. Muhammad Ajmal.*

The walk was attended by faculty members, administrative staff, and students, who actively participated in promoting awareness about dengue prevention. Participants highlighted the importance of maintaining cleanliness, eliminating stagnant water, and adopting preventive measures to control the spread of dengue.

The activity reflects GCT Sahiwal's commitment to supporting the Government's Anti-Dengue Campaign and encouraging a healthy, safe, and dengue-free environment through community awareness and collective responsibility.
