Worthy Vice Chancellor Reviewed Admission Arrangements at Admission Office (Fatima Jinnah Campus)

Prof. Dr. Shazia Bashir, Worthy Vice Chancellor of Government College Women University Sialkot, visited the University Admission Office to review the ongoing admission arrangements and facilities being provided to applicants and their parents.

During the visit, Convener Central Admission Committee, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ilyas, briefed the Vice Chancellor on the progress of the admission process, current application statistics, and the measures taken to facilitate prospective students. Co-Convener Dr. Shahbaz was also present on the occasion.

The Vice Chancellor visited different sections of the Admission Office, inspected the available facilities, and interacted with the admission team, appreciating their dedication and commitment to ensuring a smooth, transparent, and student-friendly admission process.

Prof. Dr. Shazia Bashir also met with parents and prospective students visiting the Admission Office. She inquired about their experience, sought feedback regarding the admission process and available facilities, and directed the admission staff to continue providing prompt guidance and maximum facilitation to all applicants.

The visit reflects GCWUS's commitment to maintaining a transparent, efficient, and applicant-friendly admission environment while ensuring quality services for students and their families.

🎨 ہنر کی خوشبو جب سیالکوٹ کی فضاؤں میں بکھری…
"ہنر وہ روشنی ہے جو چراغوں کی محتاج نہیں ہوتی،
یہ جہاں بھی پہنچے، اپنا مقام خود بنا لیتی ہے۔"
"محنت میں عظمت ہوتی ہے"… یہ صرف ایک کہاوت نہیں، بلکہ گورنمنٹ کالج ویمن یونیورسٹی سیالکوٹ کے **شعبہ آرٹ اینڈ ڈیزائن کی طالبات نے اسے اپنی محنت، لگن اور تخلیقی صلاحیتوں سے حقیقت بنا دیا۔
کینوس پر رنگوں کی زبان ہو یا ٹیکسٹائل پر خوابوں کی تعبیر، شعبہ آرٹ اینڈ ڈئزائن کی ٹیکسٹائیل ڈئزائن اور پینٹنگ کی طالبات نے اپنے فن سے ایسی داستان لکھی کہ پورا سیالکوٹ ان کے ہنر کا معترف بن گیا۔

یہ سفر شعبہ آرٹ اینڈ ڈیزائن میں منعقد ہونے والی تین روزہ Final Thesis Exhibition سے شروع ہوا۔ پہلے روز ماہر ججز نے طالبات کے فن پاروں کا باریک بینی سے جائزہ لیا اور ان کی تخلیقی صلاحیتوں کو سراہا۔ دوسرے روز *سیالکوٹ چیمبر آف کامرس اینڈ انڈسٹری* کے صدر اور اراکین نے نمائش کا دورہ کیا۔ طالبات کے کام نے انہیں اس قدر متاثر کیا کہ پہلی مرتبہ یونیورسٹی کی طالبات کے فن پاروں کی نمائش چیمبر آف کامرس میں منعقد کروائی گئی۔
تیسرے روز سیکرٹری ویمن ڈویلپمنٹ ڈیپارٹمنٹ پنجاب، محترمہ ثمن رائے نے نمائش کا دورہ کیا۔ انہوں نے طالبات کے فن، تخلیقی سوچ اور پیشہ ورانہ معیار کو بے حد سراہتے ہوئے کہا کہ "یہ باصلاحیت بچیاں عالمی سطح پر پاکستان کا نام روشن کرنے کی بھرپور صلاحیت رکھتی ہیں۔"
اس کے بعد دو روزہ نمائش سیالکوٹ چیمبر آف کامرس اینڈ انڈسٹری میں منعقد ہوئی، جہاں صنعتکاروں، کاروباری شخصیات اور ان کے اہلِ خانہ نے بھرپور دلچسپی کے ساتھ شرکت کی۔ نہ صرف طالبات کے فن پاروں کو بے حد پسند کیا گیا بلکہ متعدد آرٹ ورکس خریدے بھی گئے۔ یہ صرف ایک نمائش نہیں تھی بلکہ طالبات کے خوابوں کو حقیقت میں بدلنے کی جانب ایک تاریخی قدم تھا۔
اس کامیابی کو مزید یادگار بناتے ہوئے چیمبر آف کامرس کے اراکین نے طالبات کے لیے پانچ لاکھ روپے نقد انعام** کا اعلان کیا، جو بعد ازاں **امام بی بی کیمپس میں ایک پروقار تقریب کے دوران طالبات اور اساتذہ میں تقسیم کیے گئے۔
یہ کامیابی اس وژن کی عکاس ہے جووائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر شازیہ بشیر نے گورنمنٹ کالج ویمن یونیورسٹی سیالکوٹ میں فروغ دیا۔ ان کی قائدانہ صلاحیتوں، خواتین کی تعلیم، تخلیقی صلاحیتوں اور صنعت سے روابط کے فروغ کے عزم نے طالبات کو صرف کلاس روم تک محدود نہیں رکھا بلکہ انہیں عملی دنیا میں اپنی شناخت بنانے کے مواقع فراہم کیے۔
اس شاندار کامیابی کے پیچھےچیئرمین شعبہ آرٹ اینڈ ڈیزائن، رضا الرحمن کی انتھک محنت، رہنمائی اور تخلیقی وژن بھی قابلِ ستائش ہے، جنہوں نے اپنی ٹیم کے ساتھ طالبات کی صلاحیتوں کو نکھارنے میں کلیدی کردار ادا کیا۔
اسی طرح شعبے کی مخلص اور محنتی فیکلٹی مس ثمرہ چیمہ، مس رباب، مس آنسہ اور مس مہوش نے دن رات طالبات کی رہنمائی کی، ان کے خوابوں کو رنگ دیے اور انہیں اس مقام تک پہنچایا جہاں ان کا ہنر نہ صرف سراہا گیا بلکہ خرید کر اس کی قدر بھی کی گئی۔
آج یہ کامیابی صرف چند طالبات کی نہیں، بلکہ گورنمنٹ کالج ویمن یونیورسٹی سیالکوٹ کے اس تعلیمی فلسفے کی کامیابی ہے جو طالبات کو صرف ڈگری نہیں، بلکہ اعتماد، شناخت اور اپنے خوابوں کو حقیقت میں بدلنے کا حوصلہ دیتا ہے۔
یہ صرف ایک نمائش نہیں تھی… یہ محنت، خواب، اعتماد اور کامیابی کی ایسی کہانی تھی جس نے ثابت کر دیا کہ جب خواتین کو مواقع، رہنمائی اور اعتماد ملے تو وہ صرف فن نہیں تخلیق کرتیں، بلکہ تاریخ رقم کرتی ہیں۔ 🌸🎨

سیالکوٹ چیمبر آف کامرس اینڈ انڈسٹری کے وفد کا جی سی ویمن یونیورسٹی سیالکوٹ کے امام بی بی کیمپس کا دورہ

گورنمنٹ کالج ویمن یونیورسٹی سیالکوٹ (GCWUS) کے امام بی بی کیمپس میں سیالکوٹ چیمبر آف کامرس اینڈ انڈسٹری (SCCI) کے صدر سید احتشام مظہر کی قیادت میں کاروباری برادری کے وفد نے دورہ کیا۔ اس موقع پر وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر شازیہ بشیر نے وفد کو یونیورسٹی کے تعلیمی وژن، تحقیق اور طالبات کی مہارتوں میں اضافے کے لیے جاری اقدامات سے آگاہ کیا اور صنعت و جامعہ کے درمیان مضبوط روابط کی اہمیت پر زور دیا۔

صدر ایس سی سی آئی سید احتشام مظہر نے کہا کہ تعلیمی اداروں اور صنعت کے درمیان مؤثر تعاون کے ذریعے طالبات کو جدید صنعتی تقاضوں سے ہم آہنگ کیا جا سکتا ہے۔ انہوں نے تعلیم، تحقیق، انٹرنشپس، ریسرچ اینڈ ڈویلپمنٹ (R&D) اور افرادی قوت کی ترقی کے لیے چیمبر کے مکمل تعاون کا یقین دلایا۔

وفد نے اکیڈمک بلاک، مختلف لیبارٹریوں اور کلاس رومز کا دورہ کیا، جہاں انہیں جاری تعلیمی و تحقیقی سرگرمیوں اور عملی تربیتی پروگراموں پر بریفنگ دی گئی۔ چیمبر کے اراکین نے یونیورسٹی کے جدید انفراسٹرکچر اور تدریسی سہولیات کو سراہتے ہوئے یونیورسٹی گراؤنڈز کی ترقی اور نئی لیبارٹریوں کے قیام کے لیے ہر ممکن تعاون کی یقین دہانی بھی کروائی۔

وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر شازیہ بشیر نے صدر ایس سی سی آئی سید احتشام مظہر، سابق صدور اکرام الحق اور سکندر حیات سمیت وفد کے تمام اراکین کا شکریہ ادا کرتے ہوئے اس امید کا اظہار کیا کہ یہ اشتراک خطے میں تعلیم، تحقیق اور صنعتی ترقی کے فروغ میں اہم کردار ادا کرے گا۔

The University of Göttingen has invited applications for the DAAD Scholarship 2027, offering international students a fully funded opportunity to pursue Master’s and PhD degrees in Germany. The scholarship aims to support outstanding students who are committed to research, innovation, and global collaboration while studying at one of Germany’s leading public research universities.

The scholarship covers tuition-related support and provides financial assistance throughout the study period. Selected Master’s students will receive a monthly stipend of €934, while PhD candidates will receive €1,300 per month.
