𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐍𝐨𝐧-𝐕𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 🌿

𝐓𝐀𝐊𝐌𝐄𝐄𝐋, in collaboration with .istan , successfully organized a workshop on “𝑵𝒐𝒏-𝑽𝒊𝒐𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑨𝒓𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝑵𝒐𝒏-𝑽𝒊𝒐𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏” on Sunday, 12th October 2025.

The session was facilitated by 𝐌𝐬. 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐳𝐚 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐭, who guided participants through the principles of empathy, understanding, and mindful expression — the core of Non-Violent Communication (NVC).
Over 50 passionate learners from various institutions took part, engaging in reflective discussions and interactive activities that emphasized the importance of practicing empathy in our daily communication.

We extend our sincere appreciation to 𝐌𝐫. 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐡 𝐊𝐡𝐚𝐧 - Founder & CEO SKILLISTAN for joining the session and fuelling the conversation with his thoughtful contributions. His active engagement made the dialogue even more meaningful.

We’re excited to announce that TAKMEEL, in collaboration with SKILLISTAN , is hosting an engaging 𝐎𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝐖𝗲𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 on “𝑵𝒐𝒏𝒗𝒊𝒐𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑨𝒓𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝑵𝒐𝒏𝒗𝒊𝒐𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏.”

This session aims to explore how empathy, active listening, and mindful expression can strengthen peaceful relationships and build harmony in alignment with 𝐒𝐃𝐆 𝟏𝟔 – 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞, 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 .

The webinar will feature *Ms. Kinza Salamat* as the Trainer — a seasoned development professional and peacebuilder with over six years of experience in peace education, nonviolent communication, digital rights, and women’s empowerment. She currently serves as 𝑽𝒊𝒄𝒆 𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝑷𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝑪𝒍𝒖𝒃 𝑷𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏 and 𝑪𝒐-𝑭𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝒐𝒇 𝑷𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝑴𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒛𝒊𝒏𝒆, and has worked extensively on issues like 𝑻𝒆𝒄𝒉𝒏𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒈𝒚-𝑭𝒂𝒄𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝑮𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓-𝑩𝒂𝒔𝒆𝒅 𝑽𝒊𝒐𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 (𝑻𝑭𝑮𝑩𝑽) through national and grassroots initiatives.

𝐓𝐀𝐊𝐌𝐄𝐄𝐋 successfully conducted the 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐃𝐆𝐬 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 at Toosi Model School Lahore, Lahore in collaboration with Skillistan .

It was an inspiring experience to introduce young students to the 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝑵𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 𝑺𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝑫𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒑𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑮𝒐𝒂𝒍𝒔 (𝑺𝑫𝑮𝒔), discuss their importance, and explore how these goals connect with everyday student life.

Through group discussions and activities, the students not only shared their perspectives but also presented thoughtful ideas on how we, as a society, can work together for a sustainable future.

Project: Eagle’s First Flight 🦅
Day 02 – Highlights

Day 02 of Eagle’s First Flight was all about transforming thought into purposeful action (احسن عمل)—taking the right steps with clarity, gratitude (تشکّر), and a sense of responsibility . The day emphasized not just moving forward, but doing so together, with intention and heart.

Students participated in group presentations that showcased their ideas, encouraging clear communication, active listening, and the power of collaborative effort. Creative expression took center stage as well, with arts-based activities that invited imagination, innovation, and personal reflection.

Gratitude emerged as a strong theme—through shared experiences, mutual support, and appreciation for diverse perspectives. These moments fostered a deeper connection with peers and a stronger sense of responsibility toward the community.

By blending creativity, communication, and teamwork, Day 02 inspired students to lead with purpose and contribute meaningfully to the world around them.
