Recently Mrs. Methenee Sirisawat, Director of the Thai Trade Center in Warsaw, spent her weekend visiting Martyna Wilde, an owner of Polish fashion house, Mapaya at the Kiermash Fair held during 28-29 March 2026, in Krakow. Martyna founded Mapaya over a decade ago in Krakow. Driven by a love of travel and exploration, and combining her knowledge of fashion and culture, she created a clothing brand known for its soft, comfortable, and easy-to-wear styles that reflect the wearer's personality. Martyna, together with her Thai friend and some villagers in Chiang Mai, collaborated to develop designs incorporating hand-woven fabrics, with naturally dyed color and flair to Polish linen clothes. These pieces are not only stylish and eye-catching but also incredibly comfortable to wear and cater to the eco-friendly trend. She will be invited by the Thai Trade Center to visit the Style Bangkok, Asia' s lifestyle and fashion trade show be held in Bangkok in 2027.

Finally, our important work in upgrading all "Thai SELECT" restaurants in Poland has been successfully completed. The 13 “Thai SELECT” restaurants located across the country are ready to serve customers who love the authentic Thai taste and freshness of all spices and herbs. They will play an even more important role in connecting Thailand-Poland relations, which will become closer together, particularly when LOT Polish Airlines launches its direct flight from Warsaw to Bangkok this October.

The Thai Trade Center in Warsaw would like to encourage Thai restaurant owners in Poland to be well-prepared and elevate services toward the "Thai SELECT" standard to become part of promoting Thai culture and tradition in Poland. We are targeting to double the number of “Thai SELECT” restaurants in Poland within this year.

The Royal Thai Embassy in Warsaw is organizing an
annual Thai Festival “Dzien Dobry, Tajlandio 2025” at Park Granat, Mokotow,
Warsaw on Sunday, September 7, 2025. The event aims at promoting Thainess
through its cultural heritage. Therefore, the visitors will see the Thai
traditional performances, like Thai dance, Muay Thai, and Mo Lam, Thai Music
while they explore the taste of favorite dishes from several booths of
well-known Thai restaurants around.

On June 25–26, 2025, Methenee Sirisawat, Director of the Thai Embassy in Warsaw, and Advisor Kosin Pholmang from the Royal Thai Embassy in Helsinki, visited Thai restaurant operators in Tallinn, Estonia, to promote the new Thai SELECT logo, aimed at boosting the popularity of Thai cuisine abroad.

The visit also included an exchange of views on Estonian consumers’ tastes for Thai food, as well as access to Thai food and beverage products.

Although Estonia has a population of just 1.4 million, it welcomes a significant number of Scandinavian tourists each year, many arriving on cruise ships and ferries docking in Tallinn. This creates an excellent opportunity for Thai cuisine to grow and gain popularity in Estonia.

Ambasada Królestwa Tajlandii we współpracy z Thai Trade Center Warsaw i TAT zorganizowało coroczny Festiwal Tajski 2024 w niedzielę 8 września 2024 r. w Parku Granat w sercu Warszawy, aby promować tajską kulturę poprzez jej ważną tajską tożsamość. Wydarzenie obejmowało tajskie restauracje, tajskie produkty i tajski masaż, a także występy sceniczne, w tym tajski boks, przeplatane tajskim tańcem z Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University, przez cały dzień.

CIT w Warszawie ustawił również stoiska, aby udzielać porad na temat tajskich produktów i usług, a także promować logo, symbol i produkty Thai Select oraz dystrybuować tajskie książki kucharskie, aby promować wiedzę i zrozumienie kuchni tajskiej oraz prawidłowy dobór składników i przypraw. Jednocześnie restauracje Thai Select i importerzy tajskiego jedzenia i napojów zostali zaproszeni do ustawienia stoisk na wydarzeniu, które wzbudziło duże zainteresowanie uczestników.

Zarówno Polacy, jak i Tajowie wsparli wydarzenie dużą liczbą produktów i usług. Szacuje się, że sprzedaż produktów na wydarzeniu wyniosła ponad 2 miliony bahtów lub około 200 000 swotti. Popularne tajskie potrawy i produkty to Pad Thai, Som Tam, grillowana wieprzowina, kiełbasa Isaan, makaron instant, przyprawy, sosy, biżuteria z muszli, torby, napoje ziołowe, mrożona tajska herbata, napoje Mogu Mogu i tajskie piwo. TAT oficjalnie złoży raport departamentowi.
